Happy Saturday, Grinders! We have officially hit the month of August, and that means it’s true grinding season for baseball. A lot of people have started to shift attention to the NFL, and baseball becomes a secondary thought for many. That’s not the case for us, though! Pat yourself on the back if you are reading this article today and still grinding out some MLB $$$.

We have a strange Saturday slate on tap with just two games this afternoon and a massive 13 game evening slate. I will focus my attention entirely on the evening slate here. The afternoon slate includes four good offenses (BOS, NYY, MIL, CHC) with one elite pitcher in Chris Sale. The MIL/CHC game will be the priority for offense with Cole Hamels coming off the IL and Gio Gonzalez pitching for the Brewers. It’s not a slate where I see any clear edge, and I would recommend saving your bankroll for the night games.
