Best Cowboys vs. Titans Player Prop Bets for Thursday Night Football
What kind of performances can we expect on Thursday Night Football from CeeDee Lamb, Ezekiel Elliott, and Joshua Dobbs? Follow along as our NFL betting expert, Nick Galaida, breaks down his three favorite NFL prop bets for the Dallas Cowboys vs. Tennessee Titans
The Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans will open Week 17 of the NFL regular season on Thursday Night Football evening at Nissan Stadium. The big news ahead of kickoff is that the Titans have decided to rest the vast majority of their key players on both sides of the ball, in preparation for a win-or-go-home contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18. From a betting perspective, this has dramatically reduced the value on the spread, with Dallas favored by 14 points as of this writing. Instead of forcing action on the major markets for this game, bettors are likely to find more expected value on player props for this matchup.

Cowboys vs. Titans Player Props
- CeeDee Lamb to score a touchdown
- Ezekiel Elliott to score a touchdown
- Joshua Dobbs u159.5 passing yards
CeeDee Lamb to score a touchdown (+116)
Since Dak Prescott returned to the field in Week 7, CeeDee Lamb leads the NFL in receiving yards and receptions over expected, and ranks second in yards per route run out of the slot, per Next Gen Stats. On Thursday, Lamb is likely to see the majority of his offensive snaps lined up across from Joshua Kalu, who ranks far worse than league average in coverage grade in 2022, per Pro Football Focus. On the season, Lamb is among the best wide receivers in the league against both man and zone coverage, making him a threat on every dropback. He might not play long enough to cash the over on his receiving yards or receptions, but he is capable of finding the end zone on any given drive. At plus-money, this is a worthwhile stab for bettors.
Ezekiel Elliott to score a touchdown (-165)
Ezekiel Elliott has scored a touchdown in eight consecutive games this season, and 9-of-14 games played overall. Though some bettors will balk at the heavy juice in this spot, the implied odds are still in bettors’ favor here. Using the 14-game sample size of the entire season, Elliott has scored in 64.3% of games, compared to implied odds of 62.3% at this market price. Factoring in Elliott’s increased usage across the last two months, the absence of Tony Pollard this evening, and the fact that the Titans are resting the majority of their best run defenders, this is a worthwhile play at this price.
Joshua Dobbs u159.5 passing yards (-120)
Joshua Dobbs has played sparingly since being drafted in 2017, completing 10-of-17 pass attempts with an interception scattered across six games played. Tonight, he will draw the start for Tennessee against a Dallas secondary unit that ranks 5th in dropback EPA and 10th in opponent passing yards-per-attempt in 2022. During the preseason, Dobbs averaged 4.5 yards-per-attempt in Week 3, 7.1 yards-per-attempt in Week 2, and 8.3 yards-per-attempt in Week 1 with the Cleveland Browns – playing against mostly backups in quasi-scrimmages. Facing one of the best regular season defenses in the NFL, Dobbs is likely to struggle mightily, especially with multiple offensive lineman also being out tonight for the Titans. Take the under here.
