Cowboys vs. 49ers – NFL Divisional Round Player Props
- Brock Purdy to throw an interception
- Dak Prescott to throw an interception
- Deebo Samuel o17.5 rushing yards
Brock Purdy to throw an interception (-125), DraftKings
Brock Purdy was sensational in his postseason debut last week against the Seattle Seahawks, with three touchdowns and zero interceptions in the victory. However, he is likely to face much more defensive pressure in the divisional round against a Dallas defense that finished the regular season among the best in the league in nearly every defensive metric. In 17 regular season games, the Cowboys ranked ninth in interception rate as a defense. Though Purdy has been magnificent since taking over the starting job for San Francisco, he is still a young signal caller who will be playing in an extremely high pressure environment on Sunday. He is likely to make at least one costly mistake in this contest.
Dak Prescott to throw an interception (-155), MGM
In 2016, Prescott threw an interception in his playoff debut against the Green Bay Packers. In 2018, Prescott threw an interception in one of his two postseason contests. Last year, Prescott had an interception against the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round, completing only 53.5% of his pass attempts in the loss. In total, Prescott has thrown an interception in three of his five playoff games to date. During the regular season, he had 15 interceptions in only 12 games played. Though Prescott played a spotless game last weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he is likely to find today’s task far more difficult. Expect him to make at least one ill-advised throw that results in a turnover.
Deebo Samuel o17.5 rushing yards (-110), FanDuel
In the wild-card round, Deebo Samuel gained 32 rushing yards on three attempts. Last year, Samuel had at least 26 rushing yards in each of his three postseason games. Playing a tough Dallas defense, San Francisco will need to get creative with their play calling, which is likely to result in a few designed runs for Samuel. It would be more than a little surprising if Samuel failed to eclipse this modest market number on Sunday evening.
