The Wild Card Round finale will feature Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles against Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. Philadelphia slumped into the postseason, losing 5 of their final 6 games after a 10-1 start to the year. Conversely, Tampa Bay won 5 of their final 6 regular season games, and they enter the postseason playing some of their best football of the year.
Nevertheless, ahead of kickoff in this matchup, the Eagles are favored by 3 points on the spread. The over/under is set at 43 points.

Eagles vs. Buccaneers NFL Player Props – Wild Card Round
- Baker Mayfield OVER 231.5 Passing Yards
- D’Andre Swift OVER 14.5 Rush Attempts
- Dallas Goedert OVER 48.5 Receiving Yards
Baker Mayfield OVER 231.5 Passing Yards (-110), FanDuel
Baker Mayfield did not have his best showing in Tampa Bay’s season finale against the Panthers, but that had more to do with the conservative nature of the game plan against an inferior opponent than anything else. Mayfield had at least 237 passing yards in 10 of 17 games during the regular season, including 5 of 8 games at home. The Eagles have been decimated by injuries on the defensive side of the ball, which has hurt their ability to defend opposing passing attacks considerably. Since Week 12 alone, the Eagles have allowed 339 passing yards to Josh Allen, 314 passing yards to Brock Purdy, 271 passing yards to Dak Prescott, 232 passing yards to Kyler Murray, and 297 passing yards to Tyrod Taylor. This is an attainable number for Mayfield on Monday night.
D’Andre Swift OVER 14.5 Rush Attempts (-136), FanDuel
It doesn’t take an NFL savant to see that the Eagles are at their best when they are running the football with D’Andre Swift. Though an increase in rush attempts obviously correlates with a positive game script, it is worth noting that Philadelphia is 9-1 this season when Swift receives at least 14 carries, with their lone loss coming on a game-winning final drive against the Seahawks on the road in December. The Buccaneers defense is beatable on the ground, having ranked 11th in EPA/play and 19th in success rate from Week 10 to Week 18. If Swift is not a major focal point of this offense today, that is likely to be a coaching failure – one that could send the Eagles home in the first round of the playoffs.
Dallas Goedert OVER 48.5 Receiving Yards (-110), Bet365
There were few teams worse than Tampa Bay at defending tight ends during the second half of the regular season, and there is little reason to expect that to change heading into the playoffs. Since Week 11, the Buccaneers have allowed 89 receiving yards to George Kittle, 57 receiving yards to Kyle Pitts, 57 receiving yards to Tucker Kraft, 95 receiving yards to Evan Engram, and 90 receiving yards to Juwan Johnson. Goedert only eclipsed this market number four times during the regular season, but he could be primed for a strong performance in the Wild Card Round, considering the matchup.
