Primetime Parlay: Giants vs. Eagles Same Game Parlay Picks
ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool simulates NFL contests thousands of times using RotoGrinders’ NFL Statistical Projections. Along with the simulations, we will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sports betting sites to find the best price for our same-game parlay ticket. For this article, we build a Divisional Weekend same-game parlay for the Giants vs. Eagles .
On Saturday night, the Eagles will host the New York Giants after the Giants upset the higher-seeded Vikings during wild card weekend. The Eagles are sizable favorites after an extra week’s rest and a very healthy roster. Will the Giants embark on a magical run deeper in the postseason or will the top seed get the job done? We will enjoy a great playoff game with the help of a same-game parlay ticket on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Same Game Parlay for Giants vs. Eagles
On FanDuel, the Eagles are 7.5-point favorites over the visiting Giants. The line opened at -7 and has shifted just a half-point with the potential to move a bit more based on the -112 price on the birds. Per SAO, 55% of betting tickets and 58% of the betting handle sit on the Giants’ side of the ledger.
As for points, the implied total sits at 48.5 — up from 47.5 when it opened on online betting sites. The overwhelming volume of tickets and money sits on the over with north of 70% of both being placed north of the number. Bettors expect there to be a bunch of points scored in this contest.
A cold game but otherwise unremarkable weather-wise, the teams should be able to click on offense without any disruptions from Mother Nature. As for injuries, the Eagles return T Lane Johnson, as he was removed from the injury report after a few weeks off. The Giants’ Isaiah Hodgins will play after resting some during practice while LB Azeez Ojulari is questionable with a quad injury. Ojulari is one of the key pieces on the Giants’ defensive line and would be a big loss in the unlikely scenario that he cannot suit up.
Let’s start culling through prop selections to build our one-game parlay ticket.
Same Game Parlay Picks – Giants & Eagles Props
Saquon Barkley Over 65.5 Rushing Yards
The engine behind the Giants’ offensive success aside from Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley will need to be in top form to keep the Eagles’ high-octane offense at bay. Barkley impressed in the opening round of the playoffs, scoring two touchdowns against a putrid Vikings’ defense. Can he repeat this type of performance against a much better Eagles’ defense?
If the Eagles’ defense had a weakness, the opposing rushing attack would be that weakness. The Eagles allow 4.6 yards per rush attempt to opposing offenses, good for a ranking in the bottom-third of the league. If the Giants are to find success, they need their superstar to be a superstar and funnel the offense through him. ParlayIQ thought this over was good in 77% of simulations. That is a very high number relative to our other articles this season. I have no choice but to open with this prop.
Darius Slayton Under 46.5 Receiving Yards
Darius Slayton saw a ton of targets last week and put together a good performance against a weak defense. Don’t count on something similar happening against the Eagles.
The Eagles were the best defense in the NFL with regard to yards per pass attempt for opposing passing offenses. The passing defense is very stingy, and Darius Slayton is a deep threat versus a possession receiver. We are banking on ParlayIQ and fading a long catch.
I don’t think Slayton can repeat his success last weekend. as Isaiah Hodgins and Richie James are more consistent possession targets.
Dallas Goedert Under 52.5 Receiving Yards
Dallas Goedert is targeted often in the Eagles’ offense. The problem is that the depth of target is so low and Goedert doesn’t do much after the catch.
Goedert saw 8 targets in Week 18 against the G-Men and still couldn’t exceed this prop. We might want to avoid the under on his receptions prop but we shouldn’t fear Goedert’s yardage prop. The Eagles have plenty of other weapons and would prefer to run the football throughout the game. Goedert will see his share but likely won’t explode with yardage.
ParlayIQ likes another under and we add it to our ticket.
Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown
The Giants need to hitch their wagon to Saquon. I am going to hitch my wagon to him as well.
Barkley needs to perform and will be used heavily in the red zone for the Giants assuming they get there. Given the action on the over in this game, I expect plenty of points to be scored. Barkley should have some opportunities at breaking the plane.
While I am not a big fan of including touchdowns, ParlayIQ is very much in favor of all of our unders with player props in a high-total affair. That gets me a bit nervous. Let’s settle on the touchdown for Barkley.
Giants vs. Eagles Parlay Odds
- Saquon Barkley Over 65.5 Rushing Yards
- Darius Slayton Under 46.5 Receiving Yards
- Dallas Goedert Under 52.5 Receiving Yards
- Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown
