Heat vs. Nuggets NBA Player Prop Bets – NBA Finals Game 2
- Jimmy Butler o26.5 Points
- Nikola Jokic o12.5 Rebounds
- Jamal Murray Less Than 6.5 Assists
Jimmy Butler o26.5 Points (-106), FanDuel
Jimmy Butler reportedly suffered an ankle injury earlier in these playoffs, which has hurt his explosiveness of late. Still, there is a reason that the market is not overreacting to him scoring only 13 points in Game 1. During the Eastern Conference Finals, Butler had two games with 16 points or less, but also four games in which he scored 27 points or more. Miami has to win four of the next six games to secure an NBA championship this season, meaning that tonight is more or less a must-win for them. Expect Butler to be extremely aggressive on the offensive end of the floor in this high-stakes situation.
Nikola Jokic o12.5 Rebounds (-115), FanDuel
In the series opener, Nikola Jokic had only 10 actual rebounds, but he had 20 rebound chances, which was only one less than Bam Adebayo and Michael Porter Jr. – each of whom tied for the game-high in rebound chances. According to props.cash, Jokic has eclipsed this market number in seven of nine home games during these playoffs and has yet to record fewer than 13 rebounds in consecutive home contests at any point during the postseason. Put faith in Jokic to have a bounce-back night on the glass.
NBA DFS Pick’em – NBA Finals Tips
Jamal Murray Less Than 6.5 assists, PrizePicks
In Game 1, Jamal Murray totaled 10 actual assists on 17 potential assists, but he is unlikely to replicate the volume or that high of a conversion rate on a consistent basis against the Miami Heat. During the first three rounds of these playoffs, the Heat are allowed only 22.5 opponent assists per contest. In that same time period, Murray averaged only 11.7 potential assists per game. Nikola Jokic is still the primary facilitator for this group, which is going to cut into Murray’s overall volume as the NBA Finals continue. Regression will happen sooner rather than later in this department for Murray – potentially as soon as tonight.
