What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – ATL -210
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home This could be the start where Brandon Beachy comes out and regains his form. Vegas certainly believes it will be. ATL allowed him to pitch last game and he finished with 96 pitches thrown. He has not looked sharp just yet. I know it is MIA that he is facing but he struggled last time out versus PHI. If he is really cheap he is worth the gamble but do not overpay for him today. MIA is batting .232 on the road, .233 versus right-handers, and .249 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away If you are going to gamble on someone in this game to me it should be Jacob Turner. He is having a great season and his numbers do not take a big dip on the road. His K/9 is only 6.40 but ATL strikes out a ton and he works deep into games so the potential for a big day is there. ATL is batting .268 at home, .257 versus right-handers, and .273 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home Justin Upton is super hot again with 39.75 fp over the last 7 days. His price has not shot back up on some sites so he is a must play where you can still get him for value. B.J. Upton is surprisingly hot is well and offers even greater value. Freddie Freeman and Brian McCann are both hitting for a high average versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away MIA offers extreme value and a start against Beachy could pay big for MIA. Consider everyone worth a look. Christian Yelich and Logan Morrison are your best options. RG Stack Rating 5

TEX vs L | TEX BvP | HOU vs R | HOU BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – TEX -180
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home All you need to know about Eric Bedard is that he was pulled after only 6 IP in a game in which he was throwing a no hitter because he was out of gas and that he pitches for the Astros. He is unlikely to get a win today or for the rest of the year. TEX is batting .254 on the road, .261 versus left-handers, and .285 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
- Away Matt Garza destroys right-handed batters and HOU does not hit righties well. He has made the transition well to the AL and should be an easy target tonight versus this HOU team that leads the league in KS and struggles at home for some reason. HOU is batting .232 at home, .233 versus right-handers, and .245 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 10
Batter Grind Down
- Home HOU is bad to begin with but the splits really favor Garza today. If you think Castro can hit a bomb then take him. RG Stack Rating 1
- Away Lefty on the hill…Cue Adrian Beltre, Elvis Andrus, Jeff Baker, Ian Kinsler, and Nelson Cruz. Has anyone seen Cruz? Show starts in 6 Hours. Get mister Cruz to the set, please. WTF is he? This is a dream matchup! A.J. Pierzynski is 7-16 with 2 HRs versus Bedard. RG Stack Rating 6

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – CHW -120
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Charlie Leesman may have a bright future ahead of him but I would avoid using him tonight. In his 13 starts in AAA he posted a 3.47 ERA and 7.9 K/9. Not bad but his WHIP was a high 1.44 which will get you hit hard on the MLB level and he lasted only 5.2 IP a start so his upside is capped. MIN is batting .229 on the road, .250 versus left-handers, and .220 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
- Away Liam Hendricks ‘s numbers in AAA are far less impressive. He has a 5.12 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. If you are a silver linings guy then he has had some success versus this CHW team in the past and they are certainly not producing much on the year. CHW is batting .243 at home, .251 versus right-handers, and .251 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
Batter Grind Down
- Home Alex Rios is 6-3 with 2 HRs versus Hendricks. It is a small sample size but big numbers. He is also hot with 22 fp over the last 7 days. Gordon Beckham is still batting .342 versus right-handers. Everyone from CHW is payable, though. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away Brian Dozier is super hot with 30.5 fp over the last 7 days. Dozier, Jamey Carroll, Trevor Plouffe, and Joe Mauer are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. RG Stack Rating 8

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – BOS -110
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Ervin Santana is a solid play at home even as the dog and against this potent BOS offense. He does not allow left-handers to hit much higher against him than righties and his 2.71 home ERA and .233 home BAA are very good. Plus he has held this BOS team to a .236 BAA and should get a boost in Ks from them as well. You could do worse in a GPP but he is a high risk/reward selection so did get mad at me if BOS hangs 6 ER on him. BOS is batting .263 on the road, .285 versus right-handers, and .287 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Jake Peavy *RG Start-Ability *
Batter Grind Down
- Home RG Stack Rating
- Away Santana has given up 13 HRs in 11 starts at home so consider everyone worth a look. David Ortiz is 9-27 with 2 HRs versus him. Mike Napoli is 6-18 with 3 HRs. Jacoby Ellsbury is 6-21 with 1 HR. Stephen Drew is still super hot with 35.25 fp over the last 7 days. Ellsbury and Shane Victorino have been hot as well. RG Stack Rating 6

CHC vs R | CHC BvP | STL vs L | STL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – STL -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Do you remember when Lance Lynn at home was a no brainer? Trick question…you should because he still is! He has a 2.66 home ERA and a .226 BAA. Plus, he has only given up 1 HR at home. Today, he draws the very weak CHC. All Aboard!!! CHC is batting .230 on the road, .245 versus right-handers, and .243 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 10
- Away Chris Rusin road ERA looks pretty decent but when you consider that that 2 of those 3 games came against the slumping teams of OAK and SFO, the numbers seem less impressive. STL on the road will be a real test for him and I think we see a player closer to his career 5.40 ERA than his 2.93 road ERA today. STL is batting .278 at home, .241 versus left-handers, and .299 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home David Freese, Carlos Beltran, and Matt Holliday have all been hot for STL. Matt Carpenter is batting .297 versus left-handers so do not shy off of the lefty/lefty matchup. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away Donnie Murphy is hot with 3 HRs over the last 7 days. He is basement level price on most sites. RG Stack Rating 1
