What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – DET -134
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Scott Diamond might not pitch horribly every time he take the mound but he will not get you more than 3 Ks and probably will not last more than 6 IP. It is more likely today that he gets you negative points against this tough DET team than it is that he scores you more than 10. DET is batting .262 on the road, .289 versus left-handers, and .292 over the last 7 days. They rank 5th in runs scored and have recorded the 3rd fewest Ks. Avoid
- Away 8 out of 10 of Rick Pocello ‘s starts have been quality. There are quite a few daily players who are high on Rick. However, he has been a much worse pitcher on the road with a 6.41 ERA and this same MIN team hung him for 5 ER in 5.2 IP a couple of weeks ago. MIN is batting .261 at home, .241 versus right-handers, and .218 over the last 7 days. They rank 18th in runs scored and have recorded 12th most Ks in the league. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
- Home MIN as a team has a .333 BAA vs. Porcello so everyone is in play. Josh Wllingham ‘s 7-13 with 2 HRs stands out the most. Brian Dozier is also 3-8 with 1 HR. Joe Mauer is batting .326 versus right-handers and .378 at home.
- Away Miguel Cabrera and Johnny Peralta are both batting over .400 versus left-handed pitching. Prince Fielder and Matt Tulasosopo are batting over .300 versus leftie as well. Miguel Cabrera is 10-19 with 1 HR versus Diamon. Omar Infante is 3-10 with 1 HR. Everyone is playable, though.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – COL -117
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Juan Nicaso pitches okay in Coors field. He is the favorite today but I am not sure why. He has liited K/9 potential and is almost a lock to surrender at least 2 runs. PHI is batting .247 on the road, .251 versus left-handers, and .255 over the last 7 days. They rank 24th in runs scored and have recorded the 15th fewest Ks. Avoid
- Away If you want a player that no one else will be taking tonight that could have the performance of the night then looked towards Kyle Kendrick. He is starting in COL but the Rockies will most likely be without their 3 best hitters and Kendrick is pitching the best ball of his young career. COL is batting .280 at home, .274 versus right-handers, and .293 over the last 7 days. They rank 2nd in runs scored and have recorded the 13th most Ks. In Play
Batter Grind Down
- Home I like the PHI left-handed bats. All of PHI is playable but do not think that they will turn into BAL. This game will be lower scoring than people think.
- Away Nolan Arenado has been producing well and is still cheap. Michael Cuddyer is batting .338 versus right-handers. Todd Helton is 4-12 versus Kendrick

NYY vs L | NYY BvP | LAA vs L | LAA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – LAA -145
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home C. J. Wilson has been a 3.02 pitcher at home this year. The best thing he has working for him tonight is that he is left-handed and most of NYY best hitters are also Left-handed. However, their BAA vs left-handed pitching has gone up while their BAA vs right-handers has gone down. They are almost at the same point now. NYY is batting .235 on the road, .242 versus left-handers, and .206 over the last 7 days. They rank 19th in runs scored and have recorded the 7th most Ks. In Play
- Away Andy Pettitte has been very good on the road with a 2.34 ERA. At age 40, he is maintaining numbers close to his career averages. Actually, they are slightly better than his career averages. I cannot recommend him today versus an LAA team that has a .290 BAA versus him. LAA is batting .275 at home, .222 versus left-handers, and .260 over the last 7 days. They rank 12th in runs scored and have recorded the 10th fewest Ks. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
- Home Mike Trout and Albert Pujols have been hot over the last 7 days each has 2 HRs in that time span. Mike Trout and Howie Kendrick are both batting over .300 versus left-handers. Howie Kendrick is also batting .375 at home. Pujols, Hamilton and Erick Aybar all have positive BvPs versus Pettitte.
- Away Robinson Cano is 8-23 versus Wilson. Kevin Youkilis is 3-9. Brett Gardner and Robinson Cano have been hot producing over 20 fp in the last 7 days. Mark Texiera nad Vernon Wells are batting over .300 versus left-handed pitching.

SEA vs L | SEA BvP | OAK vs L | OAK BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – OAK -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Tommy Milone has given up 6 HRs in his last 4 starts but all 4 of those starts came on the road. He has been a 2.43 pitcher at home this year. SEA is an easy draw but they got to him earlier this year for 5 ER in SEA. SEA is batting .226 on the road, .240 versus left-handers, and .198 over the last 7 days. They rank 26th in runs scored and have recorded the 4th most Ks. In Play
- Away Joe Saunders 9.00 road ERA tells you all you need to know. He has pitched better as of late but I do not think he is worth gambling on with his low K/9. OAK is batting .236 at home, .256 versus left-handers, and .207 over the last 7 days. They rank 7th in runs scored and have recorded the 9th most Ks. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
- Home Josh Donaldson, Frieman, and Cespedes are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. Nate Freiman is also batting .342 at home. OAK owns a .297 BAA vs. Saunders so load them up if you want. Josh Donaldson ‘s 7-14 stands out the most.
- Away Nick Franklin, Kendrys Morales, Endy Chavis, and Mike Morse are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. Milone recent struggles with the long ball make me think a couple of bats from SEA are worth considering.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – SDG -120
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Eric Stults is a solid major league pitcher and is favored to get the win in a game with a very low OU. That is the best I can say about him, though. He is playable in multiple pitcher formats but there is not enough upside to use him in a single pitcher format. ARI is batting .270 on the road, .254 versus left-handers, and .272 over the last 7 days. In Play
- Away Trevor Cahill is simply not pitching well enough for me to consider even against the SDG. The Padres own a .275 BAA vs. him and Cahill has not looked good all year but on paper this matchup is favorable. SDG is batting .246 at home, .250 versus right-handers and .276 over the last 7 days. They rank 16th in runs scored and have recorded the 11th most Ks. They are hot. He is not. Avoid
Batter Grind Down
- Home Kyle Blanks, Everth Cabrera, and Carlos Quentin have all been producing over the last 7 days. Chase Headley is 4-13 versus Cahill.
- Away Paul Goldshmidt is 3-9 with 1 HR versus Stults. Martin Prado is 6-14. Miguel Montero is 4-13 with 1 HR. Cody Ross is batting .418 versus left-handed pitching. Will Nieves is batting .370 versus left-handed pitching also.
