Las Vegas
- OU 7.5
- Favored ATL -108
Pitchers
- Home I am not going to blame you if you are seduced by Tim Lincecum in a game with a low OU. He certainly has upside but his price is too high on most sites for his production. ATL is batting .242 on the road, .242 versus right-handers, and .251 over the last 7 days. In Play
- Away I do not like taking the road favorite as my pitcher in daily fantasy. It just feels wrong. Kris Medlen is playable today and his numbers are just good enough to consider on a day in which there are not many number 1 options going. SFO is batting .279 at home, .272 versus right-handers, and .292 over the last 7 days.
Batters
- Home Hunter Pence, Marco Scutaro and Buster Posey are hot. Pablo Sandoval is 3-4 versus Medlen with 1 HR.
- Away Brian McCann numbers versus Lincecum are pretty solid. Dan Uggla, Andrelton Simmons, Freddie Freeman, and Justin Upton have been hot over the last 7 days. Tim could struggle which makes everyone playable.
Miami at LA Dodgers

| Tom Koehler – (0-0), 3.18 ERA, 7.3 K/9, 0.97 WHIP | Chris Capuano – (0-2), 10.38 ERA, 6.59 K/9, 2.31 WHIP | ||||||

| ROAD | (0-0), 4.91 ERA, 0 HRA, 4.9 K/9, 1.227 WHIP | HOME | (0-2), 15 ERA, 2 HRA, 3 K/9, 2.833 WHIP | ||||

MIA BvP | MIA vs L | LAD BvP | LAD vs R | ||||
| Note: Batter Splits Above Open in Pop Up Window | |||||||
Las Vegas
- OU 7.5
- Favored LAD -160
Pitchers
- Home Chris Capuano draws an easy matchup today in the Marlins. However, he has recorded only 6 Ks on the year. MIA is not a great hitting team but they are not a K happy one either so I am not sure how much upside exist for Capuano today. MIA is batting .230 on the road, .219 versus left-handers, and .203 over the last 7 days. In Play
- Away Tom Koehler is a relief pitcher making a spot start so 4 IP is probably his cap. He is not a bad pitcher so I do not think loading up against him is the way to go but he will not help your daily fantasy roster. LAD is batting .268 on the road, .245 versus right-handers and .290 over the last 7 days. Avoid
Batters
- Home Adrian Gonzalez is on a nice little run going 8-19 over the last 7 days with 1 HR. With bullpen games everyone is in play because the batters will face various pitcher and will all have favorable matchups at some point.
- Away Juan Pierre has good numbers versus Capuano and has been hot of late. MIA will continue to offer value but is risky. Marcell Ozuna is cheap and producing.
Philadelphia at Arizona
| Philadelphia | Arizona | ||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chase Field | 4:10 PM | ||||||
| Kyle Kendrick – (4-1), 2.45 ERA, 6.67 K/9, 1.09 WHIP | Brandon McCarthy – (0-3), 6.75 ERA, 6.08 K/9, 1.68 WHIP | ||||||
| PvB | (28-81 H/AB) 0.346 BA-A, 17.28 K%, 0.877 OPS-A | PvB | (15-55 H/AB) 0.273 BA-A, 21.82 K%, 0.8 OPS-A | ||||
| ROAD | (2-0), 0.78 ERA, 0 HRA, 5.9 K/9, 0.609 WHIP | HOME | (0-2), 7.61 ERA, 3 HRA, 6.8 K/9, 1.648 WHIP | ||||
| BATTER SPLITS BREAKDOWN | |||||||
PHI BvP | PHI vs R | ARI BvP | ARI vs R | ||||
| Note: Batter Splits Above Open in Pop Up Window | |||||||
Las Vegas
- OU 9
- Favored ARI -123
Pitchers
- Home Brandon McCarthy has been getting hard all year. If he is pitching well then he becomes a matchup play on the road but he is not pitching well and is at home today. PHI is batting .234 on the road, .247 versus right-handers, and .218 over the last 7 days. Avoid
- Away Kyle Kendrick has been good on the year but you should not trust him today in ARI against a team that has a .346 BAA vs. him. The OU is too high and he is not the same pitcher on the road. ARI is batting .252 in home games, .261 versus right-handers, and .255 over the last 7 days. Avoid
Batters
- Home Paul Goldschmidt is on a tear and is playable no matter what the numbers suggests but he has solid BvPs versus Kendrick, Miguel Montero at home versus a right-hander is always a nice option. He is 6-9 with 1 HR versus Kendrick. Martin Prado ‘s BvPs are positive also.
- Away McCarthy is struggling and ARI is a hotter’s park so everyone is in play. Chase Utley and Ryan Howard are the most obvious choices versus the right-hander.
Oakland at Seattle
| Oakland | Seattle | ||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Safeco Field | 4:10 PM | ||||||
| Tommy Milone – (3-4), 3.13 ERA, 8.02 K/9, 1.11 WHIP | Joe Saunders – (2-4), 6.15 ERA, 3.07 K/9, 1.56 WHIP | ||||||
| PvB | (27-116 H/AB) 0.233 BA-A, 26.72 K%, 0.647 OPS-A | PvB | (38-118 H/AB) 0.322 BA-A, 11.86 K%, 0.949 OPS-A | ||||
| ROAD | (1-2), 3.86 ERA, 1 HRA, 7.7 K/9, 1.286 WHIP | HOME | (2-0), 0.81 ERA, 1 HRA, 3.6 K/9, 0.761 WHIP | ||||

OAK BvP | OAK vs L | SEA BvP | SEA vs L | ||||
| Note: Batter Splits Above Open in Pop Up Window | |||||||
Las Vegas
- OU 8
- Favored OAK -125
Pitchers
- Home OAK has a very high .322 BAA versus Joe Saunders. He does not get enough Ks to consider most days anyway even tough he has pitched well at home. OAK is batting .252 on the road, .271 versus left-handers, and .202 over the last 7 days. Avoid
- Away Tommy Milone has been real good on the year and gets the start today against a poor hitting team in a pticher’s park. SEA is batting .254 at home, .240 versus right-handers, and .176 over the last 7 days.
Batters
- Home Jesus Montero has nice BvPs versus Milone and hits lefties very well. SEA has been very cold so I would not look too deep into them today.
- Away Just about everyone has positive BvPs versus Saunders. Josh Donaldson, Jed Lowrie and Yoenis Cespedes look extra tasty today.
LA Angels at Chicago White Sox
| LA Angels | Chicago White Sox | ||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| U.S. Cellular Field | 8:05 PM | ||||||
| C.J. Wilson – (3-1), 3.86 ERA, 9.43 K/9, 1.55 WHIP | Chris Sale – (3-2), 3.42 ERA, 8.03 K/9, 1.1 WHIP | ||||||
| PvB | (22-81 H/AB) 0.272 BA-A, 17.28 K%, 0.802 OPS-A | PvB | (6-25 H/AB) 0.24 BA-A, 44 K%, 0.72 OPS-A | ||||
| ROAD | (2-1), 3.75 ERA, 3 HRA, 11.3 K/9, 1.583 WHIP | HOME | (2-0), 2.08 ERA, 3 HRA, 8.7 K/9, 1.062 WHIP | ||||
| BATTER SPLITS BREAKDOWN | |||||||
LAA BvP | LAA vs L | CHW BvP | CHW vs L | ||||
| Note: Batter Splits Above Open in Pop Up Window | |||||||
Las Vegas
- OU 7.5
- Favored CHW -130
Pitchers
- Home C.J. Wilson is pitching horrible right now but that is okay because CHW is batting horrible right now. The break down on him remains the same. He has GPP upside if you feel like gambling but is not producing. In Play
- Away Chris Sale looks like a good play in this pitcher’s park against a struggling LAA team. He has pitched well in his last couple of outings and has good numbers versus LAA. Target
Batters
- Home Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo are the only Angels I would consider today because Sale is a tough lefty.
- Away The White Soxs are in a super slump which means their prices have dropped if you want to gamble.
