What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – WAS -142
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Do not buy into Taylor Jordan ‘s 3.68 ERA. His 1.36 WHIP and .308 BAA are more inline with a pitcher who has a mid 4s ERA. The Mets have struggled on the year and he should get the win against a soft opponent so he is not a bad play today. Just do not be surprised if he gets hung for 5 ER because he is really not as good as the numbers suggest. NYM is batting .248 on the road, .235 versus right-handers, and .256 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Carlos Torres is off to a hot start since joining the rotation but let’s not fool ourselves into believing that the 30 year old became a fantasy ace overnight. WAS has become a much better team over the last few weeks. They are batting .258 at home, .249 versus right-handers, and .220 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Jayson Werth remains hot with 41 fp over the last 7 days. Bryce Harper is also hot with 20.75 fp. Harper and Wilson Ramos are both batting over .300 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away Daniel Murphy, Juan Lagares, Marlon Byrd, and David Wright have all been hot for NYM. Murphy and Wright are both hitting right-handers at a high clip. RG Stack Rating 4

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – Pick’em
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jason Hammel has been getting crushed at home and now his spot in the rotation is in jeopardy. That kind of pressure is rarely good for hurlers. He gets the added bonus of facing the league’s highest scoring offense. BOS is batting .261 on the road, .284 versus right-handers and .219 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
- Away Jon Lester has been equally bad on the road which is why this game is listed as a pick’em. Out of the two starters, I think Lester is more likely to have a good start but there is no reason to gamble on him today in a game that seems headed towards a shootout. BAL is batting .263 at home, .246 versus right-handers, and .296 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Matt Wieters is 14-37 versus Lester. J.J. Hardy is 6-18 with 1 HR versus him as well. Those two players and Adam Jones have been hot for BAL. All thre of those players bat right-handed. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Hammel is allowing left-handers to bat .296 versus him and BOS owns a very nice .360 BAA versus him as a team. Pack your bags because we are headed to Stacksville! RG Stack Rating 9

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – Pick’em
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Hector Santiago is the best 2nd tier option this morning because he gets a decent amount of Ks and draws a very weak KAN team that does not hit lefties well. Getting the win is not as important for him as it is with Chris Sale because his price is significantly lower and if he can hold KAN to 1 ER today than that will be a win to your LU no matter what the outcome of the game. KAN is batting .262 on the road, .259 versus left-handers, and .264 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away I am not buying into Bruce Chen ‘s success in his first 2 starts since joining the rotation and neither should you. There is a reason why KAN had the 36 old in the long reliever roll to start the season. CHW is batting .240 at home, .233 versus left-handers. and .250 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Dayan Viciedo has been the hottest CHW. He is 10-25 with 3 HRs versus Chen. Paul Konerko has 5 HRs in 45 AB. Josh Phegley, Alejandro De Aza, Alex Rios, and Paul Konerko are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Billy Butler has been the most productive Royal and he has been know to hit left-handers very well. Eric Hosmer has been productive also and his BAA does not drop all that much versus left-handers also. RG Stack Rating 3

CHC vs R | CHC BvP | SFG vs L | SFG BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – SFO -150
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home If I have learned anything about Tim Lincecum then it is you should never take him when you think you should because that’s the start that he gives up 8 ER in 4 IP and when he looks like a bad play go ahead and use him because he will throw 8 IP with 9 Ks. He is erratic to say the last but does have GPP winning upside even if he is winning fewer GPPs these days. A start versus the Cubs looks like a good one on paper. CHC is batting .231 on the road, .248 versus right-handers, and .232 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Travis Wood numbers do not take much of a dip on the road and he has had a very good year so far but he plays for the Cubs so he most likely will not get the win and SFO crushes left-handed pitching so the splits are unfavorable today. SFO is batting .265 at home, .261 versus left-handers, and .236 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Scutaro, Posey, Pence, Torres, Sandoval and Belt all hit left-handers at a high clip. Hunter Pence is 6-15 with 1 HR versus Wood. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away Nate Schierholtz has been super hot for the Cubs with 36 fp over the last 7 days. Junior Lake has been hot as well with 23.75 fp. Starlin Castro is 7-16 with 1 HR versus Lincecum. David Dejesus is 4-8 with 1 HR versus him as well. Lincecum could have another meltdown so everyone fron the Cubs is playable and offers value. RG Stack Rating 6

LAA vs R | LAA BvP | OAK vs R | OAK BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – OAK -150
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jarrod Parker has put together two great months in a row. If you believe in riding hot streaks then he is worth a look today. LAA has hit him well in the past, however. They are batting .276 on the road, .274 versus right-handers, and .245 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Tommy Hanson offers very little upside and there a much better plays today. He has pitched wll on the road and should get a bump from this pitcher’s park but he is not going deep enough into games for me to consider him. OAK is batting .238 at home, .244 versus right-handers, and .221 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Everyone from OAK is producing so the all are in play. I like the way Josh Reddick is swinging the bat lately and he is cheap on most sites. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away The hot bats of Mike Trout, Mark Trumbo, and Albert Pujols are worth a look. Trout is 6-15 versus Parker. RG Stack Rating
