What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – PIT -151
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Carlos Villanueva is rejoining the rotation from the bullpen. He has been a starter before but I still do not expect him to throw that many pitches in his first start. Plus, he plays for the Cubs. PIT is batting .239 on the road, .245 versus right-handers, and .246 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
- Away A.J. Burnett has only been out of action for about 3 weeks but I still do not like taking pitcher coming off of injury. Plus, he is on the road and it looks like the wind will be blowing out in Wrigly but double check that fact on our RG Lineup page. CHC is batting .256 at home, .244 versus right-handers, and .238 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Alfonso Soriano is coming off a 2 HR day and has been known to be a very streaky hitter. Starlin Castro is 8-19 versus Burnett. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Pedro Alvarez prowess for daytime homeruns is always notable on Sundays. Andrew McCuthchen and Starling Marte have both been hot for PIT. Russell Martin is 5-10 with 1 HR versus Villanueva. RG Stack Rating 6

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – TEX -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home With the way the Astros hit Yu Darvish last night you would think that should get to Justin Grimm today which means that he’ll throw 8 IP with 11 Ks versus them. Up until that game HOU had been slumping so I expect more of the same. Maybe not 11 Ks but he should have a decent outing. HOU is batting .246 on the road, .228 versus right-handers, and .188 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Erik Bedard has been awful on the road with a 6.69 ERA. HOU is proving themselves to be the worst team in baseball now. You do not want to take starters from the worst team in baseball. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Nelson Cruz, Ian Kinsler and Adrian Beltre are the players you should target anytime you see a left-hander on the mound. All 3 have positive BvPs today versus Bedard. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away I am starting to believe in Jason Castro but that is about it for me on HOU. RG Stack Rating 3

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 6.5
- Favored Team – LAD -170
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Chad Guadin pitched well in his last start but only made it 4.1 IP and threw only 49 pitches. That should tell you all you need to know about him for daily fantasy as a starter. LAD is batting .263 on the road, .262 versus right-handers, and .314 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
- Away Clayton Kershaw is not as good on the road as he is at home but over the last 3 years he is 5-2 with a 0.67 ERA in AT&T Park. He is on pace for another Cy Young and has held the current Giants to a mere .178 BAA. SFO is batting .274 at home, .274 versus left-handers, and .189 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home This comes down to what you want to believe. SFO hits lefties well and bats well at home so you can sprinkle in those players with positive splits if you want to play the fade. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away Carl Crawford is 5-12 with 1 HR versus Gaudin. Andre Either is 4-8 with 2 2Bs. Puig, Ramirez, Uribe, Gonzalez and Ellis have been hot for LAD. Puig, Gonzalez, Crawford, and Gonzalez are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 5

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – ARI -210
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Do not be fooled by the high OU in this game. Most of that number is because Vegas thinks Oswalt will pitch bad and has nothing to do with Patrick Corbin. Corbin has a very stout 1.63 home ERA and is 2-0 with a 1.72 ERA versus COL on the year. COL is batting .254 on the road, .263 versus left-handers, and .211 over the last 7 days RG Start-Ability 9
- Away There are plenty of bad things to say about Roy Oswalt so far. I can say two good things also. He is getting his fair share of Ks and is pitching deep into games so he has upside and might be worth a look in a GPP if you want to gamble. ARI is batting .259 at home, .262 versus right-handers, and .272 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home This one could get real ugly so consider everyone playable. A hot Cody Ross is worth a look either way. RG Stack Rating 8
- Away Dexter Fowler is 5-12 versus Corbin. Jordan Pacheco is 7-12 versus him as will. Carlos Gonzalez has been hot for COL with 25.25 fp over the last week. He is batting .325 versus left-handers on the year so do not be scared of the lefty/lefty matchup if you want to play the fade. RG Stack Rating 2

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – LAA -135
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jered Weaver has had 2 very strong outings in a row and looks to be finally throwing the ball well agains since his return. His diminished K/9 of 6.75 worries, though., especially against BAL who is the league’s number 1 offense. BOS is batting .264 on the road, .291 versus right-handers, and .314 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away John Lackey is having some kind of season. He has been lights out at home but only average on the road and LAA is a pretty good home team. Plus the own a career .356 BAA versus him as a team. LAA is batting .281 at home, .277 versus right-handers, and .280 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Everyon has positive BvPs but Josh Hamilton ‘s 12-27 with 4 HRs line is extra good. Hamiliton has been hot as well so it is probably time to jump back on board with him. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away Mike Napoli is 8-25 with 2 HRs versus Weaver, David Ortiz is 10-29 with 2 HRs also. Jarrod Saltalamachia, and Jacoby Ellsbury ‘s numbers are positive as well. RG Stack Rating 4
