Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in large-field tournaments?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
CheeseIsGood: I really don’t have any preference between tournament formats for this slate. I don’t think ownership is going to be much of an issue at all with any of the hitters. And on the pitching side, I’m keeping a condensed pool regardless of ownership, focusing on the top 4 of Bryce Miller, Logan Webb, Shane McClanahan, and MacKenzie Gore. I have at least 7 offenses that I would be interested in stacking in single-entry tournaments (e.g. Twins, Cardinals, White Sox, Orioles, Dodgers, A’s, Giants) and another 6-7 that I would play in MME. 6-7 baby!
ebeimfohr: Focusing on smaller-field tournaments, I am a big fan of some stacks and bats that are projecting for lower ownership, so I plan to lean into those and surround them with pitchers who will likely be more popular and have the highest projections. I think it’s super important to check back in on projected ownership closer to lock and also check our MLB DFS sims in SimLabs, but as of late morning, the majority of the hitting ownership is going to the Twins, Athletics, and Marlins. I much prefer the Cardinals, Reds, and Giants, which allows me to focus in on the top-end pitching of Bryce Miller, Logan Webb, MacKenzie Gore, and Shane McClanahan.
boggslite: I’m playing single-entry and smaller-field contests. Most of the stacks I like are affordable, so my preference is to pay up for pitching, with Bryce Miller and Logan Webb as my top options. Offensively, I like both sides of the ATH/MIN matchup as well as the Cardinals and Blue Jays as under-the-radar stacks.
