MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, September 13
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
CheeseIsGood: Ian Happ
boggslite: Seiya Suzuki
ebeimfohr: Shohei Ohtani
Alex Sonty: Seiya Suzuki
Who is your favorite hitter (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
CheeseIsGood: Willy Adames – Eduardo Rodriguez looks nothing like the guy he used to be. Through 6 starts this season, I could argue that he’s the worst pitcher on this slate. He’s sitting at just a 14% K rate to righties while allowing a .220 ISO. The surface numbers are still down for Adames against lefties, but he’s hitting the ball hard and in the air. When Arizona goes to the bullpen, which could be early, Adames has even more power against righties. Being priced right next to Dansby Swanson should keep his ownership low.
boggslite: Isaac Paredes – He hasn’t done much at the plate for the Cubs since coming over via trade, but I like his chances of breaking out tonight against a weak lefty in Austin Gomber in Coors Field. Paredes owns a team-best .392 wOBA and .233 ISO against LHP, making him a quality option to target at a reasonable price.

ebeimfohr: Royce Lewis – Royce has been in a spiral at the plate, but he finally showed signs of life yesterday. Sometimes, all you need is that breakthrough game. He had two hits and nearly missed a grand slam (ruled a double). Tonight, he draws arguably the worst pitcher on the board, and Royce has been one of the very best hitters in all of baseball since the start of 2023, and he’s actually been far better vs. RHP.
Alex Sonty: Seiya Suzuki – Hitting 3rd in Coors against the terrible Austin Gomber and the bad Rockies bullpen puts him at the top of my list. He can smash LHP and whatever RHP the Rockies bring out of the pen. He should have baserunners to drive in and put himself in spots to score runs himself. Not to mention, he can drive himself in with a dong as well as any other bat on this slate.
