What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I’ll be playing a single lineup on each site, mainly in small-field GPPs, with a sprinkle of the flagship GPP. With a small slate and some good offensive spots, I will go chalk at pitcher but try to get different in my stacks. I like the Reds, and we’ll see if that is chalk as the day rolls on, but even if so, I don’t mind dipping to the bottom of the order for my stack.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Despite only having 6 games on tonight’s slate, there is a lot to like all around. Unless you’re fully stacking the Dodgers, salary isn’t much of a concern, which leads me to spend up on pitching. All three of Joe Ryan, Logan Webb, and Jack Flaherty are top targets of mine, and I will only go cheap at SP if I absolutely need to.

ebeimfohr: There is a lack of strong pitching arms, so I’ll likely be focusing on smaller-field tournaments with a very tight core of pitching. That pitching is definitely going to be on the chalkier side, which means pivoting to bats projecting for lesser ownership is ideal for me tonight, with several different, very attackable pitchers on the slate.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There aren’t very strong pitchers on this slate, but there are a few stacks I really like. So I’ll spread out my pitcher exposure more than usual and lean into my favorite stacks: Twins, Brewers, Red Sox, and Angels.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
