MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, July 27
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: This is a strange slate that doesn’t have a lot of “wow” factor on either the pitching or hitting side. I am going to take a stance on my pitchers and spread out more with my bats. I am going to have a three or four pitcher pool, with my favorite three options being Brandon Pfaadt, Blake Snell, and Erick Fedde. I will be significantly overweight on those three pitchers.
Krayton: This is a slate for which I will have a pretty tight pitching pool, as there aren’t many pitching options that stand out at the top. Brandon Pfaadt and Blake Snell are the two pitchers who have great matchups and decent prices on both sites. I also like getting Erick Fedde in my pitching pool on DK, as he is only $7,100 and is a nice value play. With a smaller pitching pool, I can see getting to several different stacks, with ARI, NYY, SFG, and OAK standing out as my favorites.

tcsmith031: We’ve seen Blake Snell Chalk Night go wrong a time or 50 over the years, but I’ll have a very hard time fading that chalk given his cheap salaries and glorious matchup at home against the Rockies. We’ve also got reasonable price points on Erick Fedde, Brandon Pfaadt, and Aaron Civale, so I’m not planning to spend top dollar to overpay for the likes of Shota Imanaga or Seth Lugo tonight. Paying down for pitching and up for hitting is the way to build.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll look to be underweight on Brandon Pfaadt while significantly over the field on both Blake Snell and Erick Fedde. In terms of offenses, I’ll be prioritizing ARI, OAK, and BOS as my favorite stacks on the board.
