What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests along with 20-entry max on both sites. One place I will be taking a stand on is being overweight on the Los Angeles Dodgers, with heavy exposure to Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman. Their upside is elite, and they were my top stack last night even though it was a perceived tougher matchup. I will have a pretty small pitching pool, with Bryce Miller, Osvaldo Bido (for value), and Brandon Pfaadt as my favorites.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be doing 20-entry max in large-field contests. Since none of the pitchers up top feel overly safe and Bryce Miller is projecting for a ton of ownership, I plan to go overweight on the cheap pitchers on the slate, like Spencer Arrighetti, Osvaldo Bido, and Tyler Mahle.
tcsmith031: 20-max and single-entry GPPs for me tonight. I plan on coming in well under the field on both offenses in the BOS/TEX game, as I think Walker Buehler and Tyler Mahle could both be in for bounce-back seasons after dealing with injuries last year. My pitching pool will be fairly tight and focused around Bryce Miller, Brandon Pfaadt, and Roki Sasaki.
Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
