How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I am going to run a very narrow pool of offenses tonight. I will have plenty of exposure to the Coors Field game, as that game has an 11-run projected total, while no other game sits above 8.5. However, I also want to make sure I get exposure to the high-end pitchers, so I am going to run some cheaper stacks with sneaky ceilings, and my favorite on that front is going to be the Angels by a wide margin. I will only be playing the larger field tournaments tonight, and I like the Angels in that format.
Bobby Gomes: In MME, I will put more emphasis on bats and the right stacks, as my pitching player pool will be condensed. There are some great pitchers in tough spots (like Chris Sale and Jack Flaherty) this evening. Logan Gilbert is the cream of the crop with his high floor/ceiling combination. Coors Field represents the highest run total on the board, and I’ll be picking on Chris Flexen (2-14) with the A’s bats.
tcsmith031: Chris Sale vs. Jack Flaherty should be a fun pitching matchup, but I’m not planning to be heavily invested in it from a DFS standpoint. I’ll instead play quite a bit of Logan Gilbert in the SP1 slot while going cheaper at SP2. Joe Musgrove, Brandon Pfaadt, and Nick Martinez are a few options on my radar who’ll help me save the salary I need to spend up for some bats.
TJ Zwarych: Logan Gilbert is going to the be the most expensive pitcher in my pool, and I’m considering hitting the lock button on him in DraftKings tournaments. I’ll be mixing and matching various cheap options at SP2, taking shots on guys like Nick Martinez, J.T. Ginn, Joe Musgrove, and Justin Verlander.
