MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, July 14
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I don’t expect ownership to be a huge issue, as things will likely be spread out quite a bit on a 10-game slate with plenty of strong offenses. I am going to take more of a stand at pitcher, where I like Mitch Keller significantly better than all of the other top tier options. Keller has been fantastic for the Pirates this season and makes a lot more sense than using Max Scherzer or Ronel Blanco at the top.
Krayton: I will be keeping a smaller pitching pool, with Jose Quintana leading the way along with Nick Lodolo, Mitch Keller, and Jameson Taillon being guys I am interested in because of their good matchups and K upside. For stacks, I will be very overweight on the Phillies, Reds, and Dodgers as my favorites.
tcsmith031: You’re probably not going to feel comfortable with your pitching combinations today, so embracing the uncertainty in GPPs is a viable route. Nick Lodolo and Mitch Keller look like the “best” options, but there really isn’t much separating them from guys like Jose Quintana, Ryan Pepiot, or even Miles Mikolas from a median projection standpoint. I’ll mix and match these underwhelming pitching combos while focusing primarily on a few stacks, including the Phillies, Reds, and Pirates.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be keeping a very tight pitching pool, focusing on Jose Quintana, Mitch Keller, and Nick Lodolo as my top options while mixing in some Jake Irvin, Ben Lively, and Trevor Rogers for MME. I’ll be fading Max Scherzer as well.
