What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

CheeseIsGood: I prefer smaller-field tournaments tonight, as I have a tight pool of both pitching and offense. I do not want to be as spread out all over the place as we typically need to be in large-field MME. While the Braves are the clear top offense, I don’t think the salaries allow for them to be heavy chalk, so I’m probably going to be about even with the field on them, and I’ll have more exposure to the Rockies, Brewers, and Rangers for salary saving. The bulk of my pitching pool is Jacob deGrom and Bryce Miller, while I’ll get up to Logan Webb and Freddy Peralta where possible and will consider the cheaper Reese Olson and Ryan Gusto only if needed.

headChopper: I’ll be multi-entering in large-field GPPs. There are anywhere from 7 to 10 pitching options that look good to me, so I’ll probably spread that position out a little and focus on concentrating my stacks. I’ll pick three different stacks and make sure to include at least one of those teams in every lineup I build tonight.

stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on 3-entry-max and 20-entry-max contests. I’m going to narrow down my pitcher pool to Freddy Peralta, Logan Webb, Jacob deGrom, Nick Pivetta, David Peterson, Garrett Crochet, and Reese Olson. I will build multiple lineups with a focus on those pitchers. Peralta, Webb, and deGrom will be my three highest-owned pitchers. On DK, I want 5-man stacks. On FD, I want to build 4-4 stacks as much as possible. My three main stacks tonight will be Atlanta, Boston, and Texas.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and small-field contests. This is an odd slate where I like a handful of pitchers but don’t love any of them, while I like a handful of stacks, with the only one I love (Braves) being hard to afford. On bigger slates, I typically try to complete my stacks, but with the combination of not loving a lot and salary likely keeping me from a 5-man Atlanta stack on DK, I’ll likely have 3-3-2 type lineups when the Braves are involved. I don’t really have any strong leans among Jacob deGrom, Bryce Miller, Logan Webb, and Freddy Peralta, but ideally, that will be the bulk of my pitcher pool. Ideally, I won’t have to go below this group, and I’ll just use whoever fits after I build my offense.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
