What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
CheeseIsGood: I love the pricing on this slate with so many spend-up aces on one side and the Dodgers offense on the other side. As always, the chalk gets chalkier in smaller-field tournaments, so with my plan to be underweight on the Dodgers, I prefer single-entry and smaller-field tournaments. While I do want to go with ace pitching and cheaper bats, I’m also quite interested in ‘spend up to be different’ bats like Aaron Judge, Corbin Carroll, Elly De La Cruz, Fernando Tatis, etc.
headChopper: I’ll be playing 1 lineup in small-field and single-entry contests. Similar to yesterday, I’m going back to the Dodgers. My strategy will be nearly identical: one spend-up at starting pitcher, one salary saver at starting pitcher, stack the top Dodgers, and fill out the rest of my hitting with extremely cheap options.
stevietpfl: With this 10-game slate on DK (9 games on FD), we have some decisions to make. I’m going to focus on smaller-field tournaments and be underweight on the Dodgers. The Dodgers can score 10+ runs tonight, but they’re expensive, and I don’t like how my lineups look with full Dodger stacks. In those smaller tournaments, I’ll focus more on the Orioles, Rangers, Braves, Red Sox, and Royals.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field type of contests. I don’t think I’ll be able to ignore the Dodgers and their whopping 7.5 implied run total. They will face another left-handed pitcher tonight, so there is a decent chance they start some nonsense righties who have significant pinch-hit risk again (e.g. Buddy Kennedy, Miguel Rojas). I’d much prefer to avoid them. There are a lot of appealing cheap options on other teams, with the Orioles, Rangers, and White Sox being some of my favorite teams to target. I expect to be well over the field on Hunter Greene.
