MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, May 28

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

stlcardinals84: Jose Ramirez
squirrelpatrol: Juan Soto
stevietpfl: Jose Ramirez
eys819: Jose Ramirez

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stlcardinals84: As of Tuesday morning, I would consider four offenses to be the “top” targets. Those would be the Guardians (in Coors), Blue Jays (facing the White Sox), and the Braves/Yankees (upside offenses). I will let projected ownership be my guide, and as of now, it looks like the Guardians and Blue Jays will be the most popular. If that holds, I plan to be underweight on those two teams and overweight on the Braves and Yankees. I will also try to hunt as many value pieces as I can as one-off plays in order to be able to spend up at pitching where possible.

squirrelpatrol: I’ll continue to spend down on pitching while spending up on power hitters and stacks of road teams that I think can put up home runs and steals. So far this season, it feels like the bad offenses and high-strikeout offenses have been more consistent than the top pitchers, while the top offenses haven’t disappointed.

stevietpfl: It’s a great slate to save some money on pitching and focus on bats. I will be overweight on the Yankees and Blue Jays. As much as I like the Guardians, I think the Blue Jays and Yankees have the same type of ceiling at less projected ownership. I’ll be looking at the Angels and Royals as my main secondary stacks.

eys819: At the top end of the pitching range, I will be playing Cole Ragans over Freddy Peralta and Zack Wheeler. Kevin Gausman and Max Fried are underpriced on DK, and I want more exposure than the field. When saving money at pitcher, I will go to Matt Waldron ahead of Hunter Brown. My highest-exposure stacks will be the Yankees, Guardians, Blue Jays, and Braves.

Who is your top overall pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
