MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, April 29

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

Editor’s Note: SFG vs. PHI has been postponed due to weather.

stevietpfl: Elly De La Cruz
Notorious: Elly De La Cruz
TJ Zwarych: Elly De La Cruz

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on small-field tournaments. With the lack of pitching options, I’m looking to get different with stacks and one-offs. I’m going to play Tarik Skubal, Cristopher Sanchez, and JR Ritchie. For hitters, the Reds, Royals (FD), and Rockies are my favorite. I’m going to use the Cardinals and Pirates to be different. Bubba Chandler has struggled to find his command, and I want to take advantage of that with the Cardinals lefties.

Notorious: I like to play small-field tournaments. You don’t have to be perfect, and you can still have nice payouts. I’m going to build a fairly chalky lineup. I like Cristopher Sanchez and Bubba Chandler at pitcher, and I like the Reds and Rockies as my favorite offenses. Fading Tarik Skubal and the Mets’ hitters should be enough to make my lineup unique in small-field contests.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I plan to be underweight on the chalky and expensive Tarik Skubal. I’ll instead load up on Cristopher Sanchez and Logan Webb while saving salary with some cheaper options like Bubba Chandler and David Peterson.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
