MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, May 27
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
stevietpfl: Aaron Judge
Notorious: Aaron Judge
TJ Zwarych: Aaron Judge
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on small-field tournaments. I find it tough to build around the pitchers that we have on this slate. On DraftKings, I like Shohei Ohtani, Jose Soriano, Jacob deGrom, and Mike Burrows. On FanDuel, I’m building around Soriano and deGrom. With the lack of pitching options, there are multiple offenses with large ceilings. I want my stacks to focus around 4-man or 5-man builds. My biggest stand will come on DraftKings, where I’ll be underweight on the Yankees and overweight on the Dodgers.
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I’m eating the chalk on DK with Jacob deGrom and Shohei Ohtani. I’m really not looking to get too contrarian with my build on DK, but I think targeting the lefties on the Yankees is an interesting way to be different. On FD, we don’t have the COL/LAD game, so the SP1 choice is fairly straightforward with deGrom. The Cubs are very cheap on FD and likely won’t be too popular.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, with a tight pitcher pool consisting mostly of Shohei Ohtani, Jacob deGrom, and Jose Soriano, with just a couple of cheap shots on others. The Yankees are pretty cheap outside of Aaron Judge, so they’re not tough to stack up alongside the top options, and I like the Pirates, Twins, and Rays as my next favorite options.
Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
