What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: I’m going to build 1 to 3 lineups focusing on small-field contests. I’m planning on being overweight on Brandon Woodruff and Jacob DeGrom. My 3rd-favorite pitcher is Kevin Gausman. With a narrow pitching pool, I don’t want to build a lot of lineups. I’m going to focus my hitting on the Marlins, which, when I type that out, sounds scary, but they draw a great matchup in Coors. They’ve called up some of their young talent, and McCade Brown is a below-average pitcher.

stlcardinals84: I am going with a single-entry build tonight, as I like the way my single GPP lineups have come together on both sites. I am taking a stand on Blake Snell over Brandon Woodruff as my SP1 for upside purposes, especially since Snell will likely be a bit lower owned than usual in a matchup against the Phillies. I am also going with a Red Sox stack (on FD) and a Rockies stack (on DK) in lieu of the likely more popular Marlins.

TJ Zwarych: I’m going to play one lineup in single-entry contests, and I plan to pivot off the chalky pitchers, Brandon Woodruff and Blake Snell, while playing Coors Field for bats. While I still think Woodruff is likely the top option from a raw points standpoint, I’m going to fade him tonight due to his high ownership.
