What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on smaller-field tournaments tonight. I don’t think there is enough pitching or hitting to run a larger number of lineups in large-field contests. The pitchers I’m going to build around are Matthew Boyd, Noah Cameron, and Hunter Greene. For hitting, I’m going to focus on the Mariners, Cubs, and Angels. On FanDuel, if the weather gets better in the STL/BAL game, I like both of those offenses. My biggest stand will be going underweight on the Yankees.

stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 10 entries in the larger-field contests. I do not like this slate one bit, and the weather makes it extremely difficult to analyze on the front end. It’s just a day where I recommend going lighter with volume. Matthew Boyd is my favorite pitcher on the whole, but he will also be the most popular. I will be overweight on both Boyd and Clarke Schmidt as my favorite arms, and I like to go for some affordable stacks, such as the Rangers and Blue Jays. When using those stacks along with Schmidt at pitcher, you can easily pay up for some strong one-off bats.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll play 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I’ll keep a very tight pitching pool. I plan to only have four total pitchers rostered. I am going with Matthew Boyd, Noah Cameron, Hunter Greene, and Clarke Schmidt and will be fully fading George Kirby against a Nationals offense that has 9 lefties in the projected lineup.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
