Happy Tuesday! We have a big 11-game slate tonight that features a ton of offense and a fairly small pitching pool with some obvious, though somewhat unusual chalk. It looks like the MLB Weather should cooperate everywhere, so let’s dive right in and see how we can sort through all these options.

Tuesday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on FanDuel & DraftKings
The pricing is somewhat condensed, particularly on DK, which is leading me to mostly top-tier pitchers. We will, of course, look at the cheaper options as well, but most of my pool is going to come from this top group:
TOP TIER PITCHING
Tyler Glasnow at Padres – 33% K, 7.4% BB, 3.47 ERA, 2.85 SIERA
Luis Castillo at Red Sox – 23.7% K, 7% BB, 3.38 ERA, 3.84 SIERA
Hunter Brown vs. Pirates – 25% K, 8.9% BB, 4.00 ERA, 3.79 SIERA
Max Scherzer at Cardinals – 23.4% K, 5% BB, 3.57 ERA, 3.78 SIERA
Robbie Ray vs. A’s – 2nd start of season
Michael Wacha at White Sox – 20.6% K, 6.9% BB, 3.65 ERA, 4.18 SIERA
Justin Steele at Reds – 23.1% K, 5.8% BB, 3.08 ERA, 3.77 SIERA
At first glance, it would seem that Tyler Glasnow is the ace here, but there are some question marks that make it less than thrilling to spend all the way up. He has sort of fallen apart in his last 3 starts, allowing 12 runs with a 12:8 K:BB ratio over 14 innings. Prior to these 3 starts, he had been tremendous, but the timing of these struggles coincides with a back injury. He missed a couple of weeks before his last start, and when he came back, his control was clearly off, matching a season-high with 4 walks. Most likely, he is fine and gets back into form, but there is at least some chance that the back issue is still bothering him. Adding in a low-strikeout matchup, I can’t make him a priority spend on this slate. He is very much in the MME mix, and I would still say he has the highest ceiling on this slate in a best-case-scenario game, but for primary lineups, I’ll save a little more salary.
The next pitcher who would appear to be a top option based on overall talent and name recognition would be…
