MLB DFS Picks: Top Stacks for Friday, April 25th
Opto% Stack
Seattle Mariners vs. Cal Quantrill
The Mariners offer an excellent MLB DFS stack opportunity against Cal Quantrill today. With the 2nd-best optimal stack rate and value percentage in our projections, Seattle is poised for a strong performance. Their implied run total of 4.75 runs underscores the potential for significant offensive output.
Despite typically avoiding Mariners stacks at home, Quantrill’s current form makes this matchup favorable. He’s struggling with an 8:9 K:BB ratio in 17 innings and maintains a modest 16% K rate over the last two seasons. This is advantageous for Seattle’s lineup that is capable of unleashing power across any venue.
While the top of the lineup is somewhat expensive, the strategy of incorporating affordable power hitters like Luke Raley and Rowdy Tellez, along with key players like Cal Raleigh, Julio Rodriguez, and Randy Arozarena, can maximize value and score high in DFS slates.

Value% Stack
Minnesota Twins vs. Kyle Hendricks
The Twins are an enticing MLB DFS stack today against Kyle Hendricks. Holding the 3rd-best optimal stack rate and the top Value% in our projections, they bring to the table both affordability and potential gains. With an implied run total of 4.72 runs, Minnesota could be set for a productive offensive performance.
Facing Hendricks, a low-strikeout pitcher, the Twins can exploit his weakness, especially with a susceptible bullpen backing him. This presents a prime opportunity for Minnesota’s contact-heavy lineup to shine, creating numerous balls in play. Unlike the more expensive Blue Jays, the Twins offer a budget-friendly stack option.
We’re particularly interested in integrating Trevor Larnach and Luke Keaschall into lineups. This team is ideal for full stacking early and often, especially when paired with aces, to maximize DFS returns.
