MLB DFS Picks: Top Stacks for Wednesday, July 30th
Opto% Stack
New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays (Zack Littell)
The New York Yankees present a strong MLB DFS stack opportunity against Zack Littell, supported by the 3rd-best optimal stack rate, 4th-best stack rating, and 6th-best Value% in projections. With an implied run total of 4.77 runs, the Yankees are primed to capitalize on Littell’s vulnerabilities.
Littell’s allowance of a .200+ ISO to both sides of the plate, coupled with a modest 16% strikeout rate, underscores his susceptibility to power hitters.
Prioritizing a stacked approach enables full leverage of the Yankees’ power, including Ben Rice and Cody Bellinger, especially considering the potential for facing left-handed bullpen arms. Complementary hitters such as Trent Grisham, Ryan McMahon, Austin Wells, Giancarlo Stanton, Jasson Dominguez, and Anthony Volpe round out a robust lineup.

Value% Stack
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Miami Marlins (Cal Quantrill)
The St. Louis Cardinals are a solid MLB DFS stack against Cal Quantrill, supported by the 5th-best optimal stack rate, 6th-best stack rating, and the best Value% in projections. With an implied run total of 4.61 runs, they are well-positioned to take advantage of Quantrill’s pitching profile.
Quantrill’s low strikeout rate and control, combined with notable reverse splits—highlighted by a concerning .267 ISO to righties—make the Cardinals righties particularly appealing. Willson Contreras and Ivan Herrera emerge as key targets, leading the stack efforts and providing standalone value.
Despite the preference for righties, incorporating Alec Burleson and Brendan Donovan in stacks adds depth and balance.
The Cardinals’ ability to exploit Quantrill’s vulnerabilities renders them an appealing option for DFS players seeking value and upside.
