We went 2-1 yesterday to improve to 24-7-2 across our last 11 posts. During the month of May, we are 47-22-4 on non-Home Run props. We are now 56-25-1 on pitcher prop recommendations for the season. MLB Player Props Today

Shane McClanahan o17.5 outs recorded (-140), BetMGM

Entering play on Wednesday, Shane McClanahan has eclipsed this market number in seven of his first 10 turns through the rotation to begin 2023. On April 16, McClanahan delivered six innings of one-run baseball against the Toronto Blue Jays. During the month of May, the Blue Jays’ offense ranks 26th in OPS and 22nd in ISO against southpaws, meaning that this is another good spot for bettors to trust McClanahan to get deep into a ballgame. McClanahan has failed to eclipse this market number against the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Chicago White Sox this year – all of which rank in the top-8 in OPS against left-handed pitching this month. Expect McClanahan to have a strong showing in a much more favorable matchup against Toronto – take the over here.

Fernando Tatis o1.5 total bases (-140), BetMGM

Fernando Tatis went hitless on Sunday and Tuesday, making it more likely than not that we see him do something productive on Wednesday. Since returning from suspension near the end of April, Tatis has yet to go three consecutive games without recording a hit. Tonight, he gets an extremely favorable matchup against Trevor Williams, who owns a 4.83 FIP against right-handed batters in 2023. Tatis is one of the most talented players in Major League Baseball – trust him to break out of this mini-slump with a bang this evening against inferior competition.

MLB DFS Pick’em

Masataka Yoshida less than 0.5 hitter strikeouts, PrizePicks

We have successfully run this play two days in a row, so obviously we are running it back again on Wednesday evening. In his last eight games played, Yoshida has only struck out in two games, posting an impressive 5.7% strikeout rate in that span. We shower Yoshida with praise each day in this article, but not without good reason – he has elite contact skills and a discerning eye at the dish. Today, he gets a matchup against Tyler Anderson, who has a pedestrian 13.9% strikeout rate against left-handed batters this season. Expect Yoshida to continue having quality at-bats and putting the ball in play in this matchup.
