MLB Player Props Today

James Outman o0.5 Total Bases (-120), BetMGM

James Outman has been in a major slump since taking the league by storm earlier this season. However, there are reasons to be optimistic about his performance today facing Logan Webb. On the season, Outman owns a .231 ISO against right-handed pitching and is 3-for-9 across his last three games – indicating that he is starting to see the ball better of late. Playing in front of the home fans, Outman should be able to get at least one base knock in this spot.

Mookie Betts o1.5 Total Bases (+110), DraftKings

It is never difficult to sell a Mookie Betts over. On the season, Betts has a 132 wRC+ against right-handed pitching, which is 32% better than the league-average slugger. This season, Logan Webb is allowing a .263 opponent batting average to right-handed batters. Since June 6, Betts owns a .326 batting average and an .893 OPS while recording a hit in 11 straight contests. Expect the good times to continue on Father’s Day.

MLB DFS Pick’em

Juan Soto less than 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts, PrizePicks

Yonny Chirinos does not strike out left-handed batters, period. Entering play on Sunday, he owns an incomprehensibly low 7.5% strikeout rate against left-handed hitters in 2023. On the other side of this matchup, Juan Soto is an extremely disciplined hitter, who has only struck out in 16.3% of his plate appearances against right-handed hurlers this season. Soto could have a tough matchup in the latter frames against an elite Tampa Bay Rays bullpen, but this is still worth a roll of the dice.
