Happy Tuesday! Today’s 15-game MLB slate begins with a trio of contests at 6:40 p.m. EST on the east coast. There are seven games with a first pitch scheduled for 8:10 p.m. EST or later, giving the betting community plenty of time to find something to their liking before all of the action gets underway this evening.
Since the beginning of last week, we are 12-6 in this article! Since May 1, we are 109-88-7 on non-Home Run props and 2-4 on Home Run recommendations. Bryson Stott u0.5 Strikeouts (-115), DraftKings
Bryson Stott has been one of our favorite players to target in this article in recent months, and for good reason. Stott ranks in the 87th percentile in strikeout percentage and the 95th percentile in whiff rate this year among qualified hitters. Tonight, Stott gets an extremely favorable matchup against Kyle Gibson, who has struck out only 16.3% of the left-handed batters he has faced in 2023. Expect Stott to have little trouble making contact each time he steps in the box against Gibson this evening. We will take our chances with Stott against the bullpen in the late innings.
Masataka Yoshida u0.5 Strikeouts (+105), DraftKings
Charlie Morton has an impressive 30.0% strikeout rate against left-handed hitters in 2023, but he is going to have a difficult time getting Masataka Yoshida to punch out. In 87 games played this year, Yoshida ranks in the 97th percentile in strikeout rate and the 90th percentile in whiff rate. Facing right-handed pitching, Yoshida has only struck out in 10.4% of his plate appearances this season. At plus money, this play has a lot of value.

Josh Bell less than 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts, PrizePicks
Entering play on Monday, Zack Greinke has recorded four strikeouts or fewer in seven consecutive starts. On the season, Greinke has a pedestrian 13.6% strikeout rate against left-handed batters, making Josh Bell a good player to target in this spot for some contact. Bell ranks in the 57th percentile overall in strikeout percentage among qualified hitters this year and sees the ball better against right-handed pitching than against left-handed pitching. Trust him to get the job done here.
