Happy Tuesday!
If you didn’t stack the Hawks last night, you were likely behind the 8-ball in DFS. They had a home matchup against the Wizards and were without three of their key rotation players, Bogdan Bogdanovic, DeAndre Hunter, and Onyeka Okongwu. I ended up with four Hawks in my main lineup, but I didn’t have Jalen Johnson or Larry Nance. They were the two best producers on a per-dollar basis, so I fell way short of the cash line.
We now turn our attention to tonight’s 4-game slate. Half of the teams in action are playing on the second half of a back-to-back (Nuggets, Mavericks, Kings, Jazz), and three teams are playing on the front end of a back-to-back (Nets, Pelicans, Warriors). This should be a fun slate, as there are several key injuries to sift through. Let’s dive into the games!

Team Previews
Denver Nuggets (at BKN)
The Nuggets narrowly beat the Raptors in overtime last night in Toronto, and now they have a quick trip across the border to Brooklyn. They currently don’t have anyone listed on the injury report, but all five of their starters logged at least 39 minutes last night. We shouldn’t be surprised if a player or two ends up resting. The Nets were a mediocre matchup for fantasy production last season and have been a mediocre matchup so far this season.
Jamal Murray hasn’t been as effective on a per-minute basis this season but has played at least 38 minutes in every game. As noted yesterday, he’s underpriced on all sites. Christian Braun isn’t a high-usage player, but he’s only $4,400 on DraftKings and has topped 27 fantasy points in every game this season. It’s a nearly identical story for Michael Porter, who doesn’t have high usage, but he has topped 28 fantasy points in every game. I slightly prefer Aaron Gordon, as he offers more upside in terms of peripheral stat production. Nikola Jokic has only had 8 assists in the last 2 games combined but has still managed to top 60 fantasy points in every game this season. Even though the bench has been quiet, this is a spot where I expect the starters to see a little less action. Russell Westbrook is one of my favorite value plays on the board for tournaments.
