What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I love small-field and single-entry tournaments. My plan of attack is to lock in two superstars (still deciding between KAT, Nikola Jokic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo) and then fill in cheap value plays around them. There are so many strong values that the stars-and-scrubs build makes the most sense in small-field contests.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller field contests. This slate, as many tend to be this time of year, is shaping up to be a stars-and-scrubs build. I love Nikola Jokic, but if I don’t get to him, it’ll be because Giannis Antetokounmpo is available to play and I make a NYK/MIL game stack.

tcsmith031: I’ll focus primarily on single-entry contests. This looks like another potentially chaotic slate with plenty of value and more likely to come. We’ve got no shortage of cheap guards already available, which should mean some of the pricier options – including James Harden, Devin Booker, and Stephen Curry – may go overlooked. Spending up at a position at which most of the field is paying down is one easy way to differentiate your build.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field contests, using the immense amount of value at guard to spend up for as much Nikola Jokic and Karl-Anthony Towns as possible. I’ll likely play one of Jose Alvarado or Jordan Hawkins in every single lineup, while also loading up on cheap guards, such as Tyler Kolek, KJ Simpson, Elfrid Payton, and Dennis Schroder.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
