NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, April 22
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Jamal Murray
squirrelpatrol: Jamal Murray
TheLuuch: Jamal Murray (FD) / Anthony Davis (DK)
Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
Notorious: The Magic went a bit contrarian with their starting lineup in Game 1. They started Jonathan Isaac at center (easily my favorite value play again tonight on DraftKings) and Gary Harris over Markelle Fultz for defensive purposes (I assume). Jalen Suggs slid over and started at point guard. Despite shooting 4-for-16 from the field and committing 5 fouls, Suggs put up 30 fantasy points in 30 minutes of action. If the Magic roll out the same starting lineup as Game 1, I plan to be overweight on both Isaac and Suggs.
squirrelpatrol: The Knicks won Game 1 against Philadelphia with the entire starting lineup carrying a negative +/- for the game. Off the bench, Bojan Bogdanovic was +27, Mitchell Robinson was +20, and Miles McBride was +37. The Knicks won by 7 points.
TheLuuch: Compared to his peers in the starting lineup, Tobias Harris quietly played 6th-man type of playoff minutes in Game 1. He’s been awful. Harris logged 31 minutes while every other starter hit at least 36 minutes. This could open the door for more Nicolas Batum, Buddy Hield, or Paul Reed minutes. There is some speculation that Nick Nurse could deploy Reed next to Embiid for some court time tonight, as Philly has been crushed on the glass in each of their last 2 games. Reed is a player who might literally end up with 0 fantasy points, but he might be worth a sprinkle in large-field GPPs.
