What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: Just some single-entry GPPs for me today. The Nuggets project as strong point-per-dollar values with Nikola Jokic out again, but I’d like to take an under-the-field approach with a few of them in a difficult road matchup against the Rockets. I’ll eat the Aaron Gordon chalk – especially on DraftKings where he’s only $5,700 – but I’m not too keen on forcing in Russell Westbrook or Michael Porter Jr. into ownership against one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.

Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests tonight along with some 20-entry max contests. I will have a strategy very similar to TJ’s, as I like focusing on some game stacks, with the PHI/ATL and SAS/TOR games being my favorites by quite a wide margin.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll play 150 lineups in large-field contests in addition to a single-entry team. While I usually like to backload my lineup with players from later games, that’ll be tough with so many players in the early games in great spots. I feel totally comfortable excluding the CHA/MIA game, but PHI/ATL and SAS/TOR will likely be my highest-rostered games.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
