NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, April 24
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Jalen Williams
squirrelpatrol: Jalen Williams
headChopper: Jayson Tatum
Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
Notorious: Delon Wright, Haywood Highsmith, and Payton Pritchard – As noted earlier, I don’t love the first game on the slate. It has blowout potential, it is projected to be played at a snail’s pace, and it features two of the best defenses in the NBA. My plan is to play the blowout angle in that game and only look to the value plays off the bench. Wright and Highsmith each logged 26 minutes in Game 1 and would benefit from a blowout in Game 2. Pritchard saw 24 minutes in Game 1 and would also benefit if the game gets out of hand.
squirrelpatrol: Delon Wright – Miami is just missing too much offense with Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier out. Wright has come off the bench for Miami and played at least 22 minutes in each of their 3 postseason games, and his 17 points in Game 1 were more than the rest of their bench combined (12 points).
headChopper: Bam Adebayo – Relative to the size of the slate, the early ownership projection is a bit low here. It looked like Boston was willing to “let Bam beat them” to a certain extent as long as they took away Tyler Herro and most of the role players. Boston was up by nearly 30 points in the 2nd half, so I think they will feel comfortable with that strategy again.
