NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, November 27

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Franz Wagner
Stevietpfl: Jaden Ivey (FD) / Ivica Zubac (DK)
Dean78904: Isaiah Hartenstein (FD) / Ivica Zubac (DK)
ncorfield8k: Anthony Davis (FD) / James Harden (DK)

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. This is one of those slates where you have to be glued to the news right before (and after) lock. Because of that, I’m only going to build a single lineup. With holiday plans, I want to minimize the number of decisions I have to make. The only concrete take I have right now is that I want to lock in Franz Wagner against the Bulls.

Stevietpfl: I play single-entry contests for NBA, and that won’t change on this slate. Even for an 11-game / 14-game slate, we don’t have a ton of value. I think we will get a lot of news throughout the day, which could lead to some more value potential. With that said, I’m currently leaning more towards a balanced build. I typically build more stars-and-scrubs type of lineups, but early in the day, I like the balanced build a lot more.

Dean78904: I will be mostly focusing on single-entry contests. We’re looking at a monster 11-game DK (14 on FD) slate, and as of the afternoon, there are surprisingly not a ton of comfortable value plays. I must stress this absolutely can (and likely will) change as the news flow ramps up, but as things stand right now, Tidjane Salaun has a projected ownership of around 50%. Chalk pieces tend to be even more rostered in single-entry contests, so that number can really get out of hand in my target contests. With that in mind, I’ll be different by doing my best to make sure Salaun, a rookie with a minuscule 13.14% usage rate and a paltry 0.67 FD/DK FPPM, is not in my lineups.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – With so many games on this slate, value is almost certainly going to open up. If it hasn’t opened up by lock, I will simply avoid the early “bad” value chalk and hope that better chalk materializes later. Even if it doesn’t, I’ll only lose a couple points in projection while getting more contrarian.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
