Best NBA Player Props for Friday, February 6th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on Friday, February 6th:
- Josh Hart Over/Under 7.5 Rebounds
- Nikola Vucevic Over/Under 2.5 Assists
- Simone Fontecchio Over/Under 2.5 Rebounds
Josh Hart OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-110, BetMGM)
According to CourtIQ, Hart is averaging 9.5 rebounds per 36 minutes this season with Karl-Anthony Towns off of the floor. In the lone game he’s played without Towns available, Hart had 12 rebounds and 19 rebound chances against the Magic. Last season, Hart cleared this number in 7 of 9 games without Towns.
Detroit isn’t the best possible matchup for Hart on the glass, but it’s not overly prohibitive either. Since the beginning of January, the Pistons rank 11th in rebounds allowed per game to guards.
Nikola Vucevic OVER 2.5 Assists (+114, DraftKings)
It’s unlikely that Vucevic will see as many minutes with the Celtics as he had with the Bulls prior to the trade deadline, but this is still a low number. Vucevic averaged 4.6 assists and 7.7 potential assists per game for Chicago from the beginning of January until he was traded earlier this week.
Miami ranks 19th in assists allowed to centers since the new year, and Vucevic is surrounded by better shooters in Boston than he was in Chicago. The Heat don’t defend the 3-point line particularly well, which only increases the likelihood that Vucevic is able to rack up some assists this evening.
Simone Fontecchio OVER 2.5 Rebounds (-150, bet365)
Since Tyler Herro last played on January 15, Fontecchio is averaging 5.2 rebounds and 8.8 rebound chances per game. This market number is deflated because of the tough matchup against the Celtics, but this is an over-adjustment for someone who has been crashing the glass for the Heat while playing nearly 20 minutes per night.
