NBA Player Props Today – Monday, December 23, 2024

Jrue Holiday OVER 3.5 Rebounds (-132, Bally)

Jrue Holiday has been extremely active on the boards during the month of December, averaging 3.9 rebounds on 8.9 rebound chances per contest. Entering play, he’s recorded 4+ rebounds in 4 of those 7 December games, and one could make the argument that he’s actually underperformed on the glass given his opportunities in that stretch. Holiday had back-to-back games with only 1 rebound on December 15 and December 19, but he had 4 rebound chances and 9 rebound chances respectively in those matchups. He has posted 9+ rebound chances in 7 of his last 8 games overall. Tonight, facing an Orlando team that is near the league average in opponent rebounds allowed per game to guards, Holiday should have a good chance to grab 4 rebounds.

Devin Vassell OVER 16.5 Points (-115, BetMGM)

Devin Vassell has missed quite a bit of time this season due to injury, but when he’s been on the floor, he’s been mostly very productive. Since the beginning of December, Vassell is averaging 16.4 points on 13.1 field goal attempts per game. He’s scored 17+ points in 5 of his 8 contests during that span. Tonight, Vassell gets a palatable matchup against a Philadelphia defense that has been near the league average in defending opposing guards in recent weeks. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Vassell have a strong showing this evening on the road, where he has scored 20+ points in each of his 3 such games so far this season.

James Harden OVER 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105, DraftKings)

James Harden has been erratic in recent weeks, scoring as many as 41 points against the Jazz, but as few as 5 points against the Timberwolves. That being said, the one thing that hasn’t been erratic is his role. Harden has played 31+ minutes in each of his last 4 games, including a 37-point win over the Jazz and a 22-point loss to the Nuggets. He has at least 14 shot attempts, 7 rebound chances, and 10 potential assists in each of those contests as well. Memphis has been one of the better defensive teams in the league across their last 8 games, but Harden is a high-usage player who should be able to compensate for inefficiency with enough volume to be competitive at this market number on Monday.
