NBA Player Props Today – Sunday, April 21, 2024

Kristaps Porzingis Over/Under 18.5 Points
James Harden Over/Under 9.5 Assists
Tyrese Haliburton Over/Under 19.5 Points

Kristaps Porzingis Over/Under 18.5 Points

Kristaps Porzingis averaged 20.1 points per game during the regular season, but he draws a tough matchup in Game 1 of this series against Bam Adebayo and a strong Miami defense. In the past week alone, the Heat have held Nikola Vucevic to 16 points and Joel Embiid to 23 points.

Following the All-Star Break, Miami held opposing centers to a 45.3% field goal percentage – the 4th-best mark in the entire NBA during that stretch. Simply, this is a tough spot for Porzingis to begin the postseason.

James Harden Over/Under 9.5 Assists

According to Tomer Azarly, Kawhi Leonard is “trending towards missing Game 1” against the Mavericks on Sunday. In 8 home games that James Harden has played without Leonard this season, Harden has recorded fewer than 10 assists five times. Per RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Harden averaged only 8.9 assists per 36 minutes this year with Leonard off of the floor.

On Sunday, he gets a semi-difficult matchup against a Dallas defense that ranked in the top half of the league in defensive rating following the All-Star Break. The under makes sense here.

Tyrese Haliburton Over/Under 19.5 Points

This season, Tyrese Haliburton scored at least 20 points in 18 of 25 games in which he played at least 35 minutes, including 11 of 15 contests on the road. Only once in those 15 road games did Haliburton score fewer than 17 points – meaning that he’s consistently been competitive at this market number.

Following an underwhelming month of March, Haliburton averaged 18.9 points per game in only 32.0 minutes of action through the first half of April to end the regular season. Assuming he sees 35+ minutes on Sunday, he should have more than enough opportunities to get the job done for us.
