NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, November 8
- Malcolm Brogdon Over/Under 7.5 Assists
- Dennis Schroder Over/Under 7.5 Assists
- Kawhi Leonard More/Less Than 6.0 Rebounds
Malcolm Brogdon Over/Under 7.5 Assists
Malcolm Brogdon had a brutal schedule to begin the year, facing the Clippers, Magic, 76ers, Raptors, and Pistons – each of which allows fewer opponent assists per game than the league average team. However, back-to-back games against the quick-paced, more beatable Grizzlies defense yielded consecutive games with double-digit assists for Brogdon. Across their last two games, only Nikola Jokic and Trae Young are averaging more potential assists per contest. On the season, Brogdon still ranks 14th among all NBA players in potential assists per game. Brogdon is Portland’s clear top facilitator. Other than Brogdon, only Scoot Henderson is averaging more than 6.0 potential assists per contest. In a favorable matchup tonight, Brogdon should be able to get the job done here.
- PICK: Malcolm Brogdon OVER 7.5 Assists (-140), BetMGM
Dennis Schroder Over/Under 7.5 Assists
Entering play on Wednesday, Dennis Schroder has eclipsed this market number in five of his last six games played. His lone miss in that stretch came against the Spurs, but Schroder still had 16 potential assists in that game, indicating that his opportunities remained high. Across his last six games, Schroder ranks 7th in the entire NBA in potential assists per contest. This evening, he gets a favorable matchup against a Dallas team that ranks 19th in defensive efficiency and 24th in opponent assists allowed per game. The over is an appealing look in this spot.
- PICK: Dennis Schroder OVER 7.5 Assists (-148), FanDuel
Kawhi Leonard More/Less Than 6.0 Rebounds
In his first game playing alongside James Harden, Kawhi Leonard finished tied for the team lead in rebound chances with 12 against the Knicks. New York leads the NBA in rebound percentage and ranks 24th in pace so far this year, which made that an extremely difficult matchup for Leonard on the glass. Tonight, he gets a more favorable matchup against the Nets, which rank 10th in rebound percentage and 12th in pace through their first seven games played. According to props.cash, six of the last nine small forwards to play Brooklyn have recorded more rebounds than their pregame market number. Leonard should be very competitive on the boards tonight.
- PICK: Kawhi Leonard MORE THAN 6.0 Rebounds
