Nikola Jokic UNDER 30.5 Points (-112)
Nikola Jokic is averaging only 29.0 points per game this season and only 25.8 points per game on the road. Tonight, he has to contend with a Phoenix team that has not allowed more than 18 points to a starting center since November 8 with Nikola Vucevic had 26 points. Jokic is averaging fewer field goal attempts per game and has been less efficient on the road this year, making this a tall number for him on Friday evening.
Kevin Durant UNDER 31.5 Points (-120)
Kevin Durant is averaging 33.4 points per 36 minutes of action this season with Devin Booker and Bradley Beal off of the floor, but his average is skewed by a pair of outlier performances. Durant had 39 points against the Lakers as a solo star on October 26 and 41 points against the Pistons on November 5 in a similar situation. In his other three games played without Booker and Beal this year, Durant has gone under this market number each time. The Nuggets have been a capable defensive team this year, and they ranked 26th out of 30 teams in pace during November. Durant is likely to find it difficult to surpass this market number tonight.
Jusuf Nurkic UNDER 11.5 Points (-105)
Jusuf Nurkic is attempting 8.3 field goals per game this year, the majority of which are coming in the restricted area. Tonight, he has a tough matchup against the Nuggets, which have allowed the 7th-lowest opponent field goal percentage in the NBA so far this season. Nurkic is averaging only 10.8 points per 27 minutes of action this year with Devin Booker and Bradley Beal off of the court this season, making the under a worthwhile inclusion in today’s parlay, given the the tough matchup.
