As always, it is worth noting that straight wagers are a far more profitable long-term betting strategy than parlays. Still, parlays can be a fun way to get some extra action on a game to make things interesting!

Kevin Durant UNDER 27.5 Points (-104)

On Wednesday night, Kevin Durant took only 18 shots in his first game playing alongside Bradley Beal and Devin Booker. Though Durant is one of the most efficient elite scorers in the history of the NBA, there is likely to be an adjustment period offensively for him as he gets used to playing with his new teammates in their current rotations. Across the last month of action, New York has allowed the 4th-fewest opponent free throw attempts per game, which means it is unlikely that Durant will see his scoring buoyed by an abundance of trips to the free throw line this evening. The under is a worthwhile inclusion in today’s parlay.

Julius Randle OVER 24.5 Points (-115)

According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Julius Randle is averaging 28.6 points per 36 minutes of action this season with Mitchell Robinson off of the floor. Dating back to November 26, Randle is averaging 28.6 points per game on 18.8 field goal attempts per contest. He has been even more aggressive in his last two games, with 21 field goal attempts and 23 field goal attempts, respectively. Randle is likely to continue to be aggressive on the offensive end of the floor in this matchup against Phoenix – a team that has struggled to defend power forwards in recent weeks.

New York Knicks Moneyline (+166)

When new clusters of superstars form in the NBA, it almost always takes time for the new group to figure out how to play cohesively on the floor together. The most notable collection of talent in recent memory, the LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh big-three in Miami went 7-7 in November during their first season together. The new-look Clippers started 0-3 with James Harden this season. The Suns struggled on Wednesday in a 116-112 loss to the Nets. Do not be surprised if they find themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard again this evening.
