NFL Best Bets for Week 3: It Ain't Over 'Til It's Under

NFL Best Bets for this week’s action! This article will highlight one game-related total and one player prop under each week of the NFL season. Unders are underrated, and we’ll be taking advantage of that edge. Sit back and enjoy the sweat!

Last Week’s Results

Nailed both picks in Week 2. Solid start to the season. Carolina was pitiful once again on offense, and Los Angeles wore them down on the ground. Green Bay pulled off a win over Indianapolis, but Malik Willis stayed comfortably under his passing yards prop. Going back to Willis again this week.

Season Record

Green Bay Packers vs. Tennessee Titans Under 38 (-110 on BetMGM)

Both of these teams have major question marks at quarterback, and the play calling shows it. Green Bay just ran it 53 times in a win over Indianapolis. 53! Matt LaFleur smartly took the ball out of Willis’ hands and fed Josh Jacobs. The Packers had 40+ minutes of possession, which is insane. Tennessee ran on exactly half of their offensive plays against the Jets. They ultimately came up short, but this is likely their best hope. Limit the usage of Will Levis and try to grind out wins.

Jordan Love returned to practice this week, but it still seems unlikely that he returns for this game. With Green Bay winning last week and getting to 1-1, it would seem shortsighted to bring him back so soon given it isn’t a desperate situation. If he does come back, the game plan might not be too different. Love likely won’t have his normal mobility, and LaFleur would once again lean on the ground game.

Ezekiel Elliott Under 32.5 Rushing Yards (-114 on FanDuel)

This backfield is a disaster, and it’s getting worse. Elliott and Rico Dowdle alternated series in Week 1, which is bad enough. In Week 2, Deuce Vaughn joined the mix for 10 snaps and 4 carries. Dowdle started ahead of Elliott and played more snaps in Week 2 after Zeke led the way in Week 1.

Now, the best run defense in the league is coming to town. Baltimore has allowed just 99 rushing yards through 2 games. Locking down Zamir White and Alexander Mattison isn’t much of a feat, but the Ravens also held Isiah Pacheco to 45 yards on 15 carries.

It’s a terrible spot for a running back who might be in a 3-way split.
