What is your favorite correlation and why?
Notorious: Jayden Daniels + Terry McLaurin – Everything is setting up for a big game from this duo. The Commanders are playing on the fast-track in Detroit and are listed as 9-point underdogs. The Lions have one of the best run defenses in the NFL, so the Commanders should have a tough time getting things going on the ground. More importantly, game script will require them to air it out and score points to keep up with Detroit’s potent offense. Daniels had 13 rushing attempts last week, while McLaurin has topped 20 fantasy points in 5 of his last 7 games.
Stevietpfl: Patrick Mahomes + Xavier Worthy + Travis Kelce – The Chiefs are underpriced. My favorite thing on this slate is going to be double stacks with Mahomes. In Week 17, the double stack worked great for the Chiefs. This is a completely different team and offense in the playoffs. Worthy finished the season with 3 games in a row over 19 fantasy points. He has at least 7 targets in 4 of his last 5 games. Kelce has only found the end zone 3 times this season but finished the season with 97 catches. He has at least 7 targets in 5 of his last 6 games. I’m going to be overweight on the Chiefs.
Krayton: Jayden Daniels + Terry McLaurin + Jahmyr Gibbs – This game is one I am very interested in, as Daniels played well against Tampa Bay in his first playoff win. Now he gets the Lions, who have given up the 5th-most passing yards per game (260), along with the 4th-most rushing yards per game to QBs (27). The Lions have also allowed multiple TDs in 4 out of their last 6 games, and the game script sets up perfectly for Daniels and his WR1, McLaurin. On the Lions side, Gibbs will be a staple for me on DK, as he has been elite all season, and without David Montgomery, he has been exceptional. Even though Montgomery will be back, I am not convinced he will be as involved as much as he was before his injury. Gibbs has gone for over 19 fantasy points in 7 of his last 8 games.
ebeimfohr: Patrick Mahomes + Xavier Worthy – Forgive me for the narrative, but I can’t help but love a totally free Mahomes stack with his lead rookie WR in the playoffs. We get a priced-down Mahomes in a spot where he just scored 23.7 DK points against Houston in Week 16, and now they are seeing this defense for the second time. Clearly, the spend-up QBs are great on this slate, but there are ways to get access to their offense or leverage them next to this stack. Worthy has emerged as a big-time fantasy asset down the stretch, with 3 TDs over the last 3 games and 8 carries to boot. He’s a threat to break one at any time, and he also has as much volume as nearly any WR on the slate for a cheap price.
ncorfield8k: Lamar Jackson + Justice Hill + Mark Andrews – Jackson averaged 25.8 fantasy points per game this season, which was 3 more fantasy points than the 2nd-best quarterback. If he comes in around the 10% ownership he’s being projected for, it will be a gift. Hill is one of the most game-script-dependent running backs in the league, and this is the rare game the Ravens may be playing from behind, which would be to Hill’s benefit. Andrews fills the tight end spot, which I often like to do with my stack. Prior to last week’s dud, Andrews scored double-digit PPR points in each of the Ravens’ last 6 regular season games.
Davis Mattek: Patrick Mahomes + Xavier Worthy and/or Travis Kelce and/or Hollywood Brown – I think the clear angle this weekend is that the field is treating the Chiefs like they have a 21-point implied team total and not a 25.5-point implied team total. Worthy and Kelce are the only players with route participation over 80%, and Brown leads the team in targets per route run. I think Mahomes onslaughts are a super unique way to attack the slate.
