What is your favorite correlation and why?

Notorious: Justin Herbert + Keenan Allen + Jakobi Meyers – This is a stack that will be popular, because we get the highest-projected quarterback on the slate and two wide receivers who are underpriced. The Chargers had the highest pass rate above expectation in Week 1, which was a pleasant surprise. If that continues, we should expect them to shred a Raiders defense that is not built to stop the pass. My favorite bring-back is Meyers, who is underpriced given his WR1 role in the offense.

stevietpfl: Baker Mayfield + Emeka Egbuka – I think the Mayfield-to-Egbuka combo will be a little lower owned than the Justin Herbert / Ladd McConkey combo. They’re my favorite two stacks on this smaller slate. I like the idea of running this back with Nico Collins or Dalton Schultz. Mike Evans should draw shadow coverage from Derek Stingley Jr., which presents another tough individual matchup for Evans. In Week 1, Egbuka ran a route on 89.2% of the team’s dropbacks and led the team with 67 receiving yards. After starting slow in Week 1, Mayfield looked good to finish the game. I’m hoping for a more efficient game from Mayfield this week.

ebeimfohr: Justin Herbert + Quentin Johnston – I have no interest in either QB in the TB/HOU game, but I am siding with Herbert over Geno Smith by a nose. The Chargers were one of the single most impressive offenses in Week 1, and it wasn’t just because of the box score. They led the NFL with a 15% PROE (pass rate over expectation), and while that may be a matchup-based thing against the Chiefs, I think it’s a fair bet to make that they are generally more pass-heavy this season. Herbert isn’t even the most expensive QB on the DK slate, and he draws the best matchup and has several stacking partners. QJ is the one I’m most excited about for tournaments because he’s the one the field appears to not be buying into after a big Week 1. He has the lowest pOWN% of the Chargers’ weapons, and the team and Herbert both continue to rave about him having taken a big step in his development. If that’s true, he will certainly be under-owned tonight.

ncorfield8k: Geno Smith + Brock Bowers + Tre Tucker or Dont’e Thornton – This Raiders offense could take a step forward this season, and I’d love to get ahead of that on a small slate at relatively low projected ownership. Smith is inexpensive, which helps with fitting Bowers into a lineup. I also like both Tucker and Thornton quite a bit, as they’re both capable of splash plays that could pay off their salaries all at once, and both are coming in at single-digit pOWN% despite running significant routes last week.

Davis Mattek: Geno Smith + Brock Bowers – My read of the slate is that Bowers is a harder salary fit, that with Jakobi Meyers likely being so popular, Bowers ends up being the biggest leverage piece on the slate.

Jordan Vanek: Geno Smith + Dont’e Thornton + Jakobi Meyers + Omarion Hampton — This is a simple game stack that I believe offers the ultimate upside to win this 2-game slate. If Geno gets into the optimal, it’ll be through his arm, and most double stacks will include Brock Bowers at TE. Between Derwin James’ presence and Bowers’ knee injury, I think his impact could be limited, which makes fading him viable. I’ve even considered Michael Mayer as a unique pivot that creates an alternative path to getting there.
