What is your favorite correlation and why?
Notorious: Josh Allen + Drake London + Bijan Robinson – This is a unique correlation, as I don’t see the need to pair Allen with any of his wideouts (although I do like Keon Coleman at low pOWN%), and I want to bring my Allen shares back with London and Robinson. With Darnell Mooney out, Drake London could realistically have a 30% or higher target share in a game where the Falcons could be trailing. Robinson is the easy click on the slate, as he offers a high floor and ceiling in this spot. He has averaged 22 opportunities per game and is facing a Bills defense that is 28th in EPA against the run this season.
stevietpfl: Jayden Daniels + Deebo Samuel – In the 3 games with Daniels, Samuel has a 29.6% target rate and 23.3% of the team’s air yards. He’s been the first read 36.7% of the time in those 3 games. On top of that, he’s had at least 7 catches in each of those 3 games. Both Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown have been ruled out for this game, and even with the bruised heel, Samuel should be the focal point of this offense. Plus, we’re getting two of the best younger quarterbacks facing off against each other on Monday night. This should be a great football game.
ebeimfohr: Jacory Croskey-Merritt + Washington DST – Bill is slowly getting a larger share of the Commanders backfield, with Brian Robinson in San Francisco and Austin Ekeler out for the year. He rose to 48% of snaps last week and exploded with 150 total yards on 16 touches. He draws a Bears defense that is allowing an insane 6.1 yards per carry to opposing offenses through 4 games. Only one team last season allowed more than 5 yards per carry (Carolina), and the Bears are currently over 6. Chris Rodriguez is questionable after not practicing all week, and Washington is banged up at receiver, meaning they should lean on their talented rookie on the ground here. The Commanders have the 4th-highest sack rate in the league on defense and the 3rd-highest pressure rate, and Caleb Williams is prone to some erratic play, especially if the weather is a bit shaky tonight.
ncorfield8k: Caleb Williams + Rome Odunze + Cole Kmet – The Commanders have struggled to stop opposing passing games. They’ve allowed the 6th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, and that includes a game against the Chargers with a JV offensive line. Odunze has ascended to be the clear top target in this offense, and Kmet is a nice contrarian play who brings down the combinatorial ownership of the stack, despite running at least 65% of routes in every game this season.
Davis Mattek: Caleb Williams + Luther Burden – It is a classic thing in football that highly drafted rookies end up getting a bump in playing time and in usage after the bye. Colston Loveland, for me, would be a part of this group if we had greater certainty about his health, but I want to mix him in as well. This might be our last time to jam Burden at lower ownership.
Jordan Vanek: Caleb Williams + Rome Odunze + Colston Loveland / Luther Burden – This Washington defense has been one of the worst in the league at defending deep passes, and if the Bears can give Caleb Williams time in the pocket, I expect them to find plenty of success downfield. Odunze remains the primary beneficiary of the deep passing game, but I actually love the rookies here as well. Coming off the bye week, we often see rookies earn increased playing time after gradually working their way into the offense, and both Burden and Loveland should see expanded roles this weekend. Luther is the safer option, but in Loveland’s last game, he earned a 10% target share despite limited snaps. When he’s on the field, he’s being used effectively, and I expect his involvement to climb tonight.
