What is your favorite correlation and why?
Notorious: Jalen Hurts + Saquon Barkley – The Eagles have the best matchup on the slate. Without Nick Bosa, San Francisco’s defense has been a shell of its former self. On the season, they are 25th in EPA allowed per dropback and 17th in EPA against the run. They are also below the league average in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks and running backs. Stacking Hurts with Barkley should give us access to all of the offensive touchdowns for the Eagles. And if we get a rare Saquon receiving touchdown, we are really in business.
stevietpfl: Josh Allen + Dalton Kincaid + Parker Washington – Allen and Jalen Hurts both have massive ceilings because of their ability to score rushing touchdowns. Very rarely do I like to spend up at quarterback, but I think Allen is a make-or-break play this weekend. He has scored over 35 fantasy points in 3 games this season. Jacksonville allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Even battling injuries all season, Kincaid finished 2nd in receiving yards for the Bills. They love to use both Kincaid and Dawson Knox. I think this is a high-upside spot for Kincaid. Washington is doing big things out of the slot for Jacksonville. He has 29 targets over the last 3 games. In that span, he has 40.4% of the air yards, he has a 26.7% target rate, and he’s averaged 115.7 receiving yards per game. On top of that, he’s been the first read on 32.9% of the dropbacks, which is 11.5% higher than Jakobi Meyers (who is 2nd).
Krayton: Trevor Lawrence + Parker Washington – With the highest total (52.5), this is the top game on the slate, and I can easily see this game being a shootout. Since Week 12, we have seen Lawrence put up elite numbers, and he’s been averaging 27 DK points since then. Washington has easily been his favorite target, and since Jakobi Meyers joined the Jaguars, we have seen Washington command an elite number of targets. He’s a top value play on the slate, and I think adding Brian Thomas Jr. to the mix in tournaments is a great way to get different.
ebeimfohr: Justin Herbert + Ladd McConkey + Rhamondre Stevenson – The Patriots are a sneaky-good spot for Herbert and the Chargers pass game. The Chargers’ biggest issue on offense is their offensive line, particularly their offensive tackles in pass protection. The Patriots have been below average at rushing the passer, sitting 20th in sack percentage and 19th in pass rush win rate on the season. Christian Gonzalez will likely see more of Quentin Johnston on the outside, which should funnel targets to McConkey, who already is the go-to WR for the Chargers against man coverage, which the Pats have played at a top-10 clip. Meanwhile, as much as I love TreVeyon Henderson, Stevenson has the passing-down role and a very high-value overall role in the Pats’ high-powered offense that should have success against this Chargers defense.
Davis Mattek: Trevor Lawrence + Parker Washington + Brian Thomas Jr. – The BUF/JAX game has the highest total of any of the 6 Wild Card games. The Bills will be without one of their top corners, while the Jags will have to try to blunt the impact of Josh Allen. My expected game flow here is that the Jags get ahead early, Allen does his superhero job, and then Lawrence has to go for 40+ dropbacks. BTJ is completely off the radar and is only $4,700 on DraftKings. Washington is good chalk.
Jordan Vanek: Josh Allen + Khalil Shakir + Dawson Knox + Travis Etienne Jr. + Parker Washington – I expect this to be a high-scoring game and for Allen to play hero ball. Pairing a wide receiver with him is always tricky, but Shakir stands out because Jacksonville has struggled defending Trips formations, and Shakir’s usage out of Trips is extremely high. Dalton Kincaid shows up well from Trips too, but Jacksonville has been much better at defending slot tight ends and far worse against in-line tight ends. That is why I prefer Knox, who dominates that usage and continues to get schemed red-zone looks, and he has played over 60% of the snaps in 7 of the Bills’ last 8 meaningful games. On the other side, the Bills have struggled against the run and the slot, so I like bringing this back with Etienne and Washington to force a competitive game script and keep Allen aggressive. Etienne has re-established himself as Jacksonville’s workhorse, and I expect his highest usage of the season from here on out. Washington has become increasingly difficult to take off of the field, producing over 2.44 yards per route run from the slot and emerging as a major piece of this offense.

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
