NFL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Week 16 (Main Slate)
What is your favorite correlation on the slate and why?
Notorious: Justin Fields + DJ Moore – This won’t be a contrarian stack, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use it in tournaments. We just have to get unique with how we build around it. Fields has averaged just under 50 rushing yards per game this season and has at least 1 passing touchdown in 3 of the last 4 games. His favorite target this season has been Moore, who has averaged over 20 fantasy points per game with Fields in the lineup. They should feast on a Cardinals defense that is 31st in DVOA against the pass and bottom 10 in fantasy points allowed to both quarterbacks and wide receivers.
squirrelpatrol: CeeDee Lamb + Raheem Mostert – This will be an expensive correlation, but I may just force it into some lineups and take whatever value I can get. The Dallas – Miami game has the highest total on the slate, yet it isn’t seeing the ownership we would expect because of pricing. At lower ownership, I’ll gladly take Mostert, who has seven touchdowns in his last four games, and Lamb, who has nine touchdowns in his last eight games. This may mean spending down at QB and other positions, but I’ll gladly pair these two as a mini-stack with a cheaper game stack.
Krayton: Nick Mullens + Justin Jefferson – I have a lot of interest in Jefferson in a home matchup against Detroit where the Vikings are underdogs and should be throwing the ball often. If I have interest in Jefferson, I have interest in Mullens, as he provides a nice value for us at QB, which will allow us to spend up at another position. My early builds with Mullens + Jefferson also allow me to get another secondary stack, such as CeeDee Lamb + De’Von Achane or DJ Moore + Trey McBride.
ebeimfohr: Geno Smith + DK Metcalf – The Titans have officially been eliminated from the playoffs and have been very banged up on defense, which is perfect timing for Geno to come back and help push the Seahawks to the playoffs. The weirdness of the last couple of weeks is giving us the Seattle stack at a price that’s far too cheap for their talent as well as this matchup. Even more, the field is not gravitating here with too much ownership. Metcalf is due for another big game, as he’s 6th in the NFL in end-zone targets, 6th in red-zone targets, and 7th in air yard share, but he just hasn’t been able to connect as often this season.
Stevietpfl: Taylor Heinicke + Drake London – For a game with a 44.5 total, it’s not getting a ton of projected ownership. Arthur Smith is desperate to win the last 3 games of the season and will turn to Heinicke at quarterback against the Colts. I’m hoping with Heinicke at quarterback, we see London more involved in the offense this week. He continues to win individual matchups, but the quarterback play has been poor. London missed the Week 9 game with Heinicke at quarterback, but Heinicke threw the ball 38 times for 268 yards against the Vikings. At these prices, it opens up the rest of my lineup.
Bobby Gomes: Nick Mullens + Justin Jefferson + Amon-Ra St. Brown – The DET / MIN game has the 2nd-highest total (47.5) on the slate with a close spread (Lions -3.5). Mullens is cheap, JJ is overdue for a JJ game, and St. Brown has been among the league’s safest DFS WRs all season. This trio could generate upwards of 75-80 fantasy points, and we can easily jam them in together. JJ is a cash game fixture, but St.Brown is coming in around 10% pOWN%.
