NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday Night Football (Bucs vs. Chiefs)

DRAFTKINGS

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Travis Kelce, Trey Palmer, Baker Mayfield
headChopper: Rachaad White, Travis Kelce, Cade Otton
ncorfield8k: Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt, DeAndre Hopkins
Davis Mattek: Travis Kelce, Baker Mayfield, Kareem Hunt

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer single-entry and small-field tournaments. My plan of attack is to play into my favorite game script, which is that the Chiefs build a lead early. In theory, this would lead to a higher pass rate for the Buccaneers, which would be good for Baker Mayfield, his pass catchers, the Chiefs D/ST, and Harrison Butker.

headChopper: I am playing 20 lineups in large-field contests. My strategy is to focus on lineups that stack high-upside players, like Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce / Xavier Worthy, while incorporating value plays projecting for lower ownership, like Noah Gray, to maximize correlation and reduce duplication. Then run it back with Baker Mayfield and a couple of his numerous cheap pass catchers.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I will be playing a lot of Chiefs onslaughts and picking and choosing contrarian options within them to avoid highly-duplicated lineups. Sterling Shepard will be a focal point as far as contrarian options. He ran over 50% of his routes from the slot last week, and the Chiefs have been a slot-funnel matchup.

Davis Mattek: This seems like a great slate for MME. The Bucs will likely be without Jalen McMillan due to a hamstring injury, which is going to make picking their pass catchers a nightmare. I’ll be taking a stance on Sterling Shepard over Trey Palmer. The Chiefs’ passing weapons after Travis Kelce are also hard to pin down because DeAndre Hopkins has had an extra week to learn the playbook. I get the sense that both Hopkins and Xavier Worthy will be under-owned relative to their optimal rates.

What’s one rule/setting that you’re using in LineupHQ or SimLabs to capitalize on the above strategies?
